   Was really looking forward to having our first Christmas Dinner at a pub. We usually stay in and cook. We decided to book a table at Westmead hotel. For a three course meal. We waited an hour for our starters. While Other tables were already on their main course. And other tables were still waiting for their starters. Then we had to wait almost 50 minutes for our mains. To be honest now. For £80, it wasn't the best. Waiting for dessert, was a joke as well. We was getting our coats and ready to walk out. Then a member of staff, told us our desserts was next coming out of the kitchen. So we waited for our desserts. In total we was there about three hours. It was a set menu. Should of got all the starters out first on every table and then onto the mains and then desserts. Some people were already on their desserts, while we still waiting for our dinner. Overall it was a bad experience. Customer service wasn't good. Need to have a better system in place for next year's Christmas dinner.

   Attended for a Christmas party with some friends. Party was good overall. Food was good for a mass catered event. The veggies were actually cooked! Portions were on the small side but hey ho. The DJ played a good selection of music but didn't seem to know how to mix or fade tracks into eachother and jumped from genre to genre. The rooms were ok but need a good update. The bathroom had no extraction or appeared that way with signs of damp. The shower leaked more from the tap than the showerhead basic maintenance. Windows didn't seem overly secure with loose handles.

   Rooms standard Nice bath and shower pressure Unfortunately our room was not cleaned on the second day, we did leave the room after lunch and left a note to request room cleaning. Back at 9pm no one had cleaned or replaced towels/coffee/toilet roll etc. Called reception and brought towels so rectified quickly Felt it was overpriced stay Friendly staff

   Really nice food fantastic breakfast if you're staying overnight rooms are a decent size and the beds are really massive and the bathroom had a bath in not just a shower . Staff were really friendly as well. They also have a brilliant sized room for weddings or events

   Really appreciated the polite welcome we received from receptionist yesterday. New to area - proved helpful. Allowed us to look around facilities. Lounge bar staff member Rae was incredibly helpful, extremely professional & friendly. We were left feeling that nothing would be too much trouble from this member of staff. Really grateful for the kindness shown towards us. Thank you Rae

   Both me and my husband have used the Westmead on several occasions, we have stayed overnight and also just had meals. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable, the beds are amazing and so was breakfast..............loved it! All the staff are both friendly and welcoming whilst being professional at the same time. The meals are lovely and beautifully presented! 10/10 everytime, thank you Westmead.

   Thank you for your wonderful staff, I had my party with you yesterday. Absolutely brilliant service and food Our room was clean and comfortable. The planning staff and the owner are extremely friendly and helpful in fact everyone employed at every level is a credit to this hotel. You all contributed to a fabulous party and overnight stay. A great big THANK YOU to you all.

   Awful damp room freezing when we got there as old fashion heating staff not very friendly breakfast appalling expensive for what we had it was my partners Birthday Surprise but not nice at all we slept with clothes on so cold. Do not recommend this Hotel very tight with tea and biscuits could only give you one packet of biscuits dreadful.

   Westmead Hotel is situated about 10 minutes from the M42, 20 minutes from M5 and is an idea place for Wedding and birthday celebrations, and the Wake for funerals. Food is very good. They also have a lounge serving tea, Coffee etc. Cannot advise on the rooms as I have no need to use them.
