   Had a great experience after travelling to this store. I struggle to find comfortable wide fit boots and the customer service at this store was excellent. The woman who helped me (I believe her name was Ann) find my size, try on multiple colours and styles and which lead to me buying my first pair. I had such a positive experience and the boots are very comfortable, I think I'll be back for another pair soon.

   Positive experience throughout whilst trying shoes on in hotter today with my mum. Not easy getting through town when you're a wheelchair user, especially on a busy Saturday. But Amy was attentive, professional and just lovely with nothing being too much trouble whatsoever. Thank you so much especially to Amy and also fellow staff for brightening and lightening our day.

   We visited York last Thursday specifically to look for boots at Hotter as we no longer have a branch in Beverley. I knew exactly what I wanted but neither was in stock. Ann spent time discussing and investigating the options on line. Eventually we agreed that she risk an order from the warehouse( very low stock). Yesterday they were delivered to my house (2 days after ordering) and both pairs are perfect. Three cheers for Hotter and especially Ann. Great customer service. Great boots.

   Shakira was a very friendly, kind, professional, helpful and attentive assistant. She measured my feet using the computerised system - I can highly recommend this service. It's a nice store with a spacious seating area to it's rear. Shakira's colleague was also friendly. It was a pleasure to visit the store and I hope to return next time I am in York.

   I really enjoyed visiting this store as I normally telephone an order. Although I always take a size 6, the assistant advised me to try a size 7 as the boot had a Goretex lining, and it fitted perfectly.

   Assistant was very rude to my partner.My partner wanted to look at a pair of shoes but didn't like to ask the assistant about them as she was in conversation with another customer.My partner was trying to socially distance but in doing so the assistant abruptly told her to move somewhere else.My partner explained that she couldn't look.at the shoes she was interested in from where she'd been standing so the assistant rudely told her 'an excuse me would be nice'.How do these people get these jobs?.Anyway,she went to Brown's shoes and the assistant in there was lovely.So there you go.
