Atrocious customer service. The lady said she couldn't return an item when I took it there. I went to another argos they returned it no problem. This has happened 2 times now. The lady's name is Sarah.

Worst customer service ever. Kerrie was very argumentative, patronising and aggressive. Absolutely disgusting behaviour do not come here. Go to the small heath one instead.

I had the worst retail experience I have ever had in my entire life with a member of staff who is supposedly a Manager at this store. Her name is Ann and I honestly believe she is not mentally stable to be working in a retail environment amongst members of public. I had returned an electrical Amazon Fire tab after experiencing issues trying to charge it and switch it on, which I had explained to Ann upon my arrival at the store. At which point she put it on charge and left it for approximately 10 minutes, the tab did show it was charging, however it was still not switching on. I was then instructed by Ann to take the tab home and put it on charge for longer and then see if the tab would switch on, but I had told her I would not take the tab back home if it was still experiencing the same issue of not switching on, the exact reason I had brought the item back to the store for in the first place. She then pressed the on button which showed the battery charging sign and said 'look it is on.' In a very aggressive manner, she was behaving very erratically, I had explained to her that this just meant that the battery was charging, not that the tab was on or functioning correctly. She kept on saying it is on, so I asked her if I could use it, at which point she said 'no but it is on.' I was flabbergasted at her attitude and behaviour towards me, and I questioned whether she actually was a manager because I felt as though she didn't have a clue about what she was saying or doing. At this point she became even more aggressive and had what I could only describe as a mental breakdown, she got hold of the tab and shoved it towards me whilst shouting that she isn't going to deal with this anymore. She then walked away towards the back of the store screaming and shouting at me, saying how 'customers like me take the piss.' I honestly could not believe what I was seeing and hearing from what is supposedly a Manager at such a big store such as Argos. I then tried to speak to somebody else who is a manager, an older lady with glasses, who firstly tried to ignore me, but when I did manage to speak to her, she told me that I should apologise to Ann, completely disregarding the way she had just behaved with me. I am disgusted and appalled at the way I was treated and I will never be returning to this store again. Please avoid this place at all costs.

The managers in this store lack professionalism. Especially Anne, she’ll run away and hide in the back when she doesn’t want to give you a refund even though you’re well within your consumer rights and her bestie the other store manager mirrors her appalling attitude.

Theres one staff who is very rude. Ive come in a few times and she’s situated on the FT orders and wears glasses. Very unprofessional and never speaks politely. My clothing order wasn't showing but I kept showing her the order number and she kept saying its not from our store but it says Stechford. She had to call another member of staff who told her to look she has the order number and type it in so it came up on her screen after all. All that arguing with me was for nothing.

I had visited stechford branch on Sunday 6 November at 10.35 to return a hair dryer. I told the lady that the item doesn't heat up not suitable for me either i have another one exactly the same or a refund. She went to see if the hair dryer heated up and started to say we will not accept this you have used it started to argue with me, i was like where in your policy have you written electric items can not be returned even though i have a receipt and guarentee. She continued to use a agressive tone with me i am very disappointed with this the women was very rude i felt she was very racist towards me and very outspoken i feel upset disheartened that this is the way you treat your customers as i have been using this service for over 20 years now i will have to think again about attending such a disgusting place where staff are rude. Very bad Customer service it is not right for us to feel this, therefore we want a outcome of what happened with this issue and like a apology, as we bring our business to this argos. Think again Argos Stechford before you hire out such rude staff.

Abrasive service at 10am on a Saturday - my husband was battling asthma trying to speak and so was coughing (mouth covered FYI) but he was met with some questionable facial expressions from staff (and abrupt/abrasive responses) as he apologised and tried to catch his breath.... not really customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service. Took a speaker i bought that was faulty and kept turning off every 15 minutes. Went for a refund or exhange and they tried it infront of me for around 2 minutes and claimed it was completly fine and denied my refund. I explained to them that the problem wasnt frequent and happened once in a while but the lady started to argue with me and shout at me. I then took the speaker to Small Heath and found out they had already called the branch and infromed them about the issue to deny my refund.

Raj is a very incompetent manager. He does not know how to treat customers well. He does not have managerial skills and attitudes. He is very rude to customers and acts like does not want to work for Argos. He thinks, he is working for free and gets angry at customers for no reason. This is the worst Argos manager and customer service so far I have received. Other team members were very nice and polite. But Raj does not deserve to be a manager and sends customers away. I will never visit this Argos store in the future. This is how you lose customers' business. Very very disappointed. I wish Argos finds a better manager for this store or gives him proper management skills and attitude.
