   This is my local store which I use often. Nice store, plenty of space and well organised. The staff are friendly and helpful. While queueing recently I had a funny turn which was quite scary. The staff on duty both on the till and on the floor went above and beyond to help me. They got me a chair by the door for fresh air, they gave me water, one member of staff stayed with me throughout until my husband arrived and kept me feeling calm, the lady on the till kept popping over to check on me. I could see the shop was quite busy but the staff made time to make me feel safe and look after me. I want to say a big thank you. Your time and care was much appreciated. It really meant alot.    We visited the Hunts cross store today ,we were served by the most patient, understanding,polite young man by the name of Craig,he went up n above to help myself and my friend to find items that were not in the store,he went on line,even phoned other stores for us,hes a little gem and it was very much appreciated!

   I returned boots today that I had bought in December, 5 weeks previously. Both wedge heels were coming off. I was firstly refused a refund by a rude till assistant. I won't share her name but she shouldn't be working with customers. I was told no receipt no refund. I told them it is faulty goods but still nothing. The manager decided I could buy something for the same price in the store. I couldn't find anything as the sale was on so I chose a pair of boots that wouldn't fit me just so that matalan wouldn't get the benefit of my money. A very kind second till assistant spoke again to the manager who decided to give me a gift card, after me going on and on. I know it's their rule but what a stupid rule. I won't be shopping at this store again especially with rude staff serving.

   Clothes selection okay, but ladies changing rooms were a disgrace. Curtains hanging off. Only one hook and no chair. Had to put my coat and clothes on the floor where I then realised it was full of dust and something was crawling which I stood on. Never going back.

   Great shop to go to for clothes for all of the family. Changing rooms are available in the store so you can try before you buy. Matalan also sell items for the house from cushions and bedding to bathroom items. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. This shop is not a dear shop and very popular. Access for the disabled is fantastic. Disabled parking is also available right at the front of the store. Good size car park available. Access is just off Wavertree Road which is about 5 minutes from the City Center and about the same from Edge Lane. Well worth going and having a look if you have never been there.

   It's very dated this store and its large, spacious and cold. The homeware section is small despite the size of the store. It's a shame because the homeware section is the best bit for me. I prefer the Wavertree Road store, but you can still get what you need.
