would like to express my heartfelt thanks to The Minworth Social Club and Lodge for catering our Mom Eileen’s wake on 08/12/25. The service was outstanding—everything went smoothly and was handled with care. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was warm and respectful. A special thank you to Luke, the manager, for his professionalism and support throughout the day. He ensured everything ran perfectly, which made a difficult time much easier for our family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent service and hospitality.

The staff were lovely but an error in the booking system meant that our 4 room was not available and we were split into 2 rooms. Thanks to the staff though for putting them next to each other we were fortunate rooms were available. The rooms themselves were basic. Extremely cold even with the heating on full due to the drafty window. Rooms came with towels and soap but were not stocked with toilet paper.

Stayed here after a cancelled flight for one night. The bar area is lovely and staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic. Loose toilet on the wall and without any thrills. However for the cost of the room this is to be expected. Can be loud enough from the bar area Would happily stay for another night.

Stayed the night as had an early flight from Birmingham airport (20 min drive) I don't want to be unfair in my review so will state there was a Halloween party at the time that contributed significantly to the noise and subsequently disturbed sleep. However, I do belive this would be an issue on most nights, The windows are ground level facing a pub garden, we had kids banging on our window at gone midnight. The window had a broken blind when I managed to get the thing to close it was a good inch or two shy in width to cover the window, again with this being ground level posed a bit of a privacy issue I eneded up fixing up the beds throw to cover the window in it entirity. It is however low cost, offers free on site parking and a limited food menu. Staff are welcoming, friendly and polite.

Room was basic but clean shower and toilet clean, shower was large enough and water was plenty warm enough. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location depends on what you're there for. If you're looking for a city break with nights out etc possibly not for you . But then im not a local so what do I know. Would I stay there again? Yes. If it was where I needed to be.

Difficult to rate I was only there for a short time, I'm sure it's a valuable asset to the local community and a proper old fashioned social club, for me I didn't feel comfortable the room we paid for was in my opinion of poor standard cold and damp, no drinks for me as I am diabetic and they had nothing suitable, I wouldn't go back but that's my choice

We used to go here every week for breakfast but won’t be going again. Service was terrible no one was there to take orders we had to find them as they were sitting in the office. If you are open for breakfast then man the bar.We waited nearly half hour for breakfast to be cooked. One of our breakfasts had items missing and we was told it would be bought out …… never happened. Eggs tasted horrible from the oil and when we complained they still charged us full price that was after l had to call someone back to the bar and they rolled their eyes. Just a joke!!!

Fantastic staff who greeted us on arrival. Nice food and drinks selection from the bar. The only let down was a group hanging around in the beer garden repairing and revving a motorbike up to midnight. Room was really comfortable and clean. Great brekkie too!
