We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Manchester, and it was an excellent choice for me and my son. The room was very clean, modern, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom stood out with its sleek design, spacious shower, and quality amenities, making it both practical and stylish. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant—especially when traveling with a child. Their professionalism and warm attitude truly reflected Hyatt’s service standards. The location is very convenient, particularly for families. There is a bus stop nearby, making it easy to hop on and travel to different locations around Manchester without hassle. This saved us time and made moving around the city simple and stress-free. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast. The breakfast selection was exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh options including juices, eggs, pancakes, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes. Everything was well presented and replenished, and we genuinely looked forward to breakfast every morning. Overall, Hyatt Regency Manchester offers a great balance of comfort, location, and service, making it ideal for both business travelers and families. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it—especially for those traveling with children and looking for a clean, welcoming, and convenient hotel in Manchester.

I stay in Manchester frequently but this was my first time here. Pros: rooms are spacious and spotless, decent work space and bathroom. Breakfast is exceptional, good strong coffee, high quality food and an excellent selection. The hotel itself is in a great location, near museums and galleries, coffee shops and restaurants. My only issue is the time it took to check in - 25 minutes is really not good, and waiting until you get to the desk to be asked for photo ID and a £50 deposit - we could have been told this in the queue. They need a more efficient check in system. That being said the staff are friendly, and the pros definitely outweigh the cons so I will definitely be back.

The experience was excellent. The room was a bit smaller but all the amenities and services were there for a much comfortable stay. As we were coming from Hyatt House to Hyatt regency they gave us an early Check in, which was very kind of them. The restaurant staffs were extremely kind and helpful. A big shout out to Andrea from the restaurant, she was very helpful with the menu suggestions, as well as she helped us to find out nearest places to visit, she also gave a Drawing book and colours to our daughter so that she can play with that. Over all a very good experience and thank you to the Whole team.

My partner and I booked a King Room months in advance as we were attending an event nearby that evening. Check-in was smooth — the staff were polite, we were handed our key cards, and wished a pleasant stay. On first impression, the room was lovely. However, after unpacking and looking around, we realised it wasn’t the King Room we had booked and paid for. While getting ready to head out, we also discovered that the door wouldn’t close properly. We tried several times to shut it, and it only latched a full minute later by itself — not ideal when valuables are left inside. I went to the front desk to query both the room type and the faulty door. It was mentioned by staff that it was an accessible room instead of the King Room. I was simply told, “We don’t have any other rooms, sorry,” with no offer of a discount or resolution at that time. When we returned later that night, we tried to turn on the air conditioning, but it kept shutting off after several attempts. I called reception again and was told they would look into it and call me back. A few minutes later, I was informed that the system was broken in that room and we were offered another room. Despite it being after midnight, we packed up and moved rooms. The new room was exactly what we had originally booked — a proper King Room with complimentary water and no adjoining door. The next morning, we were apologised to at checkout and offered a discount on a future stay, which was appreciated. Overall, the hotel itself is lovely — clean, stylish, and deserving of its 4-star rating. However, the service and handling of the situation fell short of expectations. A bit more care and attention to guest bookings and room issues would have made a big difference so I’m giving a 3-star.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Manchester and overall had a decent experience, with a few things to note for future guests. Location-wise, the hotel is in a very convenient spot—surrounded by plenty of coffee shops and local amenities. It’s also just a simple 25-minute walk to the heart of Manchester, which makes it a solid choice for those wanting to explore the city without being right in the thick of it. The room I stayed in was comfortable and well-presented, but there are a couple of points worth mentioning. The air-conditioning in the room can be quite noisy, especially during the night, and the rooms are not soundproofed. I could hear guests from the floors above and around me, which made it one of the less quiet hotel experiences I’ve had. If you're a light sleeper, it's something to keep in mind. I also dined at the hotel’s restaurant during my stay. The food itself was good, but the service was a bit off. Both my starter and main course were brought out at the same time, which was far from ideal. I had to ask them to hold the main course until I finished the starter—something that should have been managed better without needing to ask. That said, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful, and the overall cleanliness and presentation were up to standard..

Be careful with the misleading cancellation policies. For a one night stay, there is no point in cancelling, even if you haven't been charged. They won't do anything about it, they will say it's a "good will gesture to guests" to be allowed to pointlessly cancel a booking

Attended an away day here, which included a session on carbon literacy. And on the topic I was a little baffled that hotel procured glass bottles of Kentish water, a far inferior product to the, Lake District sourced tap water in Manchester. I appreciate this is profit seeking business but why serve hard water from the other side of the country? Also disappointed by the use of disposable cups. Catering and other facilities were otherwise great.

Lovely room & communal areas. Toiletries were of a high quality & tea, coffee & bottled water was provided. Staff reasonably friendly though a bit robotic. Unfortunately let down as the nearest car park is a good 5-10 minute walk away (no fun in the Manchester rain with luggage) & the hotel doesn't have an arrangement in place to subsidise the £12/day charge - a poor show considering the accommodation cost. Paid £212 for one night, which is punchy considering the hotel's at least 15 minutes walk to Town & when considering more central hotels. The biggest disappointment was that Hyatt take a £50 'Deposit' on check-in to cover breakages (something no other Manchester hotel I've stayed in has ever done), it actually comes off of your card & (after checking) takes 7-10 'business' days to go back. What on earth is that about in the age of immediate payments?! 3 or 4 days fair enough but over a week since check-out I'm still waiting. For a hotel like Hyatt it's not good enough & service score reduced to 3 stars for that reason. Would not use them again in any location because of this, but particularly not the Manchester one as pricing is poor considering the location & less than ideal parking situation.

Rooms were very good, there was plenty of parking around the hotel and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Staff all very friendly I will coment that I think the price of our room was a touch on the expensive side comparing to similar hotels of that standard, we will be happy to stay here again

This location has two Hyatt's the Hyatt House & Hyatt Regency. Offers free breakfast, the Laureate restaurant is excellent! The rooms are beautiful and large. We stayed in the Bed & Breakfast part of the Hyatt House room 1316. The rooms were up to date and very clean.
