“Came here for our anniversary meal and it honestly was the best meal we have had! The staff were incredible throughout the night, and whilst we didn’t get their names, the young, blonde lady and the middle aged, olive skinned gentleman who served us a glass of bubbly each were amazing. The food is to die for and trust me you will not be going hungry when you leave. Thank you for making our night an unforgettable experience!”

“This family-run restaurant is excellent. The staff are especially attentive, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. I think it is one of my favourite Indian restaurants of all time. I enjoyed the Indian Chai tea to end. Very tasty. Loved it.”

“Great location. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink in walking distance. Very close to city centre. Couldn’t really be better in that respect. Despite being very busy location didn’t notice any noise. Property itself was exactly as pictured and what we were expecting. Very rustic vibes. Majority of what you would need is provided. Several comments made previously about codes - very clear to follow instructions sent and we had no bother with this. Few points though. Bed wasn’t the comfiest ever. Rather hard mattress. There wasn’t any toilet roll provided which is the first I’ve had that - there is a Sainsbury’s within 2 minute walk. There had clearly been a leak recently in the entrance hallway, which did mean there was some mould growing., with a rather bad smell. Could at times smell in flat especially when heating was on. Of note, there is quite a few stairs - we had no bother but just for people with limited mobility to be conscious of this. Great and proactive host.”

“My son and my daughters birthday treat. We didn't book, thee restaurant was busy and we were asked to wait a few minutes whilst a table was being prepared. I ordered the pan fried Salmon, the better half ordered the chicken sizzler, the birthday boy ordered the bang bang and the birthday girl a Chicken burger (yes she's your typical 11 year old. The foodwas geat topped with excellent service from Asad. He treated the birthday twins to the best cheesecake I've ever tasted and a Brownie. Food 10/10 Service 10/10”

“Had an amazing time at Hawksmoor Manchester. The team’s hospitality was spot-on — friendly, genuine, and made us feel really well looked after. Started the evening with a few cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic. The steak was the real highlight — perfectly cooked medium rare, juicy, and full of flavour. Honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long while, and I’ve been to quite a few steakhouses! Lovely ambience too — perfect for a relaxed date night.”

“We visited MyLahore for lunch today for the very first time, and our experience was made absolutely exceptional thanks to our server, Nadeem. From the moment we were seated, he was warm, welcoming, and attentive in the most genuine way. We both ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani, and when Nadeem brought the dishes over, he took the time to carefully cut into the dums for us. The moment he lifted the lid, the aroma was incredible—and the biryani inside was beautifully cooked. Perfectly tender chicken, fragrant rice, and so full of flavour. His presentation made the experience feel even more special. Nadeem’s professionalism, kindness, and pride in the food truly elevated our first visit. Thanks to him, we’re already looking forward to coming back!”

“Had a lovely meal here last weekend I'm a fussy eater usually so this place was definitely out of my normality but I was on holiday so said let's give it a go, Had the garlic bread as a starter and went for the Margherita as a main, was pleasantly surprised by how delicious both were! “What a place! The location, the decor, the welcome, the staff, the service and of course the food all out of this World. Warm welcome, knowledgeable sommelier who exudes positivity and tells you a fabulous story about the wine, I could listen to him all day. The food is served and explained and is of an exquisite nature. I often don’t even read the ingredients and just try it - and I’m never disappointed. You’d be surprised how small dishes can fill you so much. A fabulous place, and a credit to Simon Wood. We will be back again and again.”

“Some of the best ramen I've ever had. Came in here for a last minuet meal before a gig, incredible service and fast food. The pork ramen was smokey and rich with an incredible pull apart pork joint on top. The chicken ramen had a lighter broth to it but full of flavour and morish. Fried chicken was tender and crisp, felt homemade and cozy. The atmosphere was cool and stylish, felt authentic for a small ramen shop, simple but effective. Would absolutely eat here again!”

“The experience was excellent. The room was a bit smaller but all the amenities and services were there for a much comfortable stay. As we were coming from Hyatt House to Hyatt regency they gave us an early Check in, which was very kind of them. The restaurant staffs were extremely kind and helpful. A big shout out to Andrea from the restaurant, she was very helpful with the menu suggestions, as well as she helped us to find out nearest places to visit, she also gave a Drawing book and colours to our daughter so that she can play with that. Over all a very good experience and thank you to the Whole team.”

“A lively rock bar selling great food and drinks. Great decor, neon signs and some good rock tunes playin too. We went for a rock n roll bingo night, you get tickets online ours were £12 each. Its unreserved seating so if your in a group get there early. Its a really great night, winning free shots and dancing yo the tunes.”

“Very highly recommended. This has to be the nicest Indian meal I’ve had in a very long time. Brilliant service from very helpful, friendly staff, it’s also reasonably priced. Piping hot food that is of a high standard. The portions aren’t too big, but enough to be able to enjoy everything we ordered. The garlic naan is so good, as are the curries. Very clean throughout, including the toilets, which I find incredibly important.”

The atmosphere is excellent and when you arrive and enter the premises, you are quickly (and warmly) greeted with a friendly smile and a helpful Employee. As a Disabled Person, I found the layout, set-up and arrangement of the furniture easily navigable with ample room to move around. I have not encountered a more helpful Staff when visiting a Restaurant and my opinion of them is that they are of the highest calibre and quality. I wish to express my personal, sincere and heartfelt thanks to Waiter 'V' and the Manager. They (both) are extremely personable, professional, friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming. They gave me their time and were genuinely interested and could not have done more to help me. I cannot praise them enough. Their conduct, behaviour, attitude and persona(s) shall keep me coming back to [and frequenting] this Establishment often. The food is of the highest quality, but you'll just have to take my word on that and go and sample [it] for yourself! You won't regret it... I don't want to spoil the surprise! The table(s) are far enough apart so as to maintain a conversation without feeling overlooked or eavesdropped on. The Establishment is clean and the decor is tasteful. I enjoy visiting this Establishment and would rate it: exceptional. What makes this place stand out from the rest / it's competition is the: service. The superb Staff make this a super Establishment. “Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”
