Terrible experience. My dog had an ear infection so I brought him to Yew tree, I was given treatment for him that did not do anything to help and in fact, made him worse. I contacted the vets who gave me an email for complaints as I am seeking a refund for the Β£199 that was charged, it has now been over two weeks with no reply, I emphasized how unwell my dog had become since our visit but it was made clear to me that they do not care, how can you claim to be somewhere that cares for animals when you just ignore and avoid? Edit: They the took over two weeks to reply to my email and only did so once I had posted this review, declined to refund me and offered a phone call with their vet, why on earth would I go back to the same vet that has acted as above? I will be taking this further, private vets like this one are just money grabbers, if you look at all the other 1 star reviews it is clear they over charge as standard and by experience, they do not care for animals, only money.

I can’t thank Yew Tree Vets enough for the incredible care they gave to my dog, Buddy. He recently had to have his tail amputated, and from start to finish the team went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well looked after. Buddy is quite an anxious dog, but they were so patient and gentle with him, helping to put him at ease throughout the whole process. A very special mention to Ocean, the vet who carried out his surgery – she was absolutely amazing and made sure Buddy was cared for every step of the way. Her kindness, skill, and compassion made a difficult experience so much easier. I’m so grateful for the exceptional care they provided – Buddy is recovering well thanks to them. Highly recommend Yew Tree Vets!

Years of great service with a previous Vet at this surgery who left. A decline since it became part of a chain - the CVS Group (500 clinics driven by profit, KPIs etc). Leaves you feeling the sector is in need of a fresh approach to regulation. The Tupe (transferred) staff do as best as they can. Other local vets, like the Manchester Cat Clinic are fortunately still not part of multi-national corporations.

Really lovely vets & staff. We've seen Emily twice now with our little disabled dog, and she's been so gentle and understanding with him. Big thanks from us & Hershey!

My bunny is registered here and he recently had a castration surgery so we’ve had loads of visits and they’re absolutely amazing, they know how to handle pets really really well and they clearly care a lot! I would 100000% recommend it’s also very fairly priced and truly want best for your pets

I'm so so disappointed with this surgery. I have been coming here for over 15 years for a variety of my pets. The care has been good but the prices now are astronomical!! We paid Β£100 today for a small dog vaccine booster and worming tablet (found a different vet who do this for Β£50 including worming). Also got a quote for some dental work on my 11 year old dog and was quoted nearly Β£900 for 4 extractions and cleaning. Again a different vet quoted Β£369. You are taking advantage of so many pet owners who would pay anything to get their pets well. You have lost me and my current/future pets, a real shame.

Been going for over 7 years the new staff are rude, no communication didn’t tell me the price before the service was done all they want is to rob ur money avoid at all cost told me I can’t leave until I pay or it’s going to debt relief. On the computer said that a male did the pre check up which It was a female that did it. Disgusting behaviour. Lost a customer for over 7 years now will not be going back. Practise needs to be shut down

Friendly, helpful staff, both the nurse on reception and the vet who treated my cat Layla for her water infection. Modern, clean premises conveniently located in Withington. Very happy with service provided. Recommended

I had to bring my elderly dog of almost 18yrs here when she took a turn for the worse due to a heart condition and that terrible heat. It was time for her to leave us. The staff and vet Patrick were so helpful, understanding. They gave me blankets to sit down on the floor with my precious baby as she drifted of to sleep with sedation and then gave me all the time I needed as we said goodbye and then to sleep forever. Then today I received a lovely sympathy card and a goodbye card that held the words you could see your dog say to you. In that were some Forget Me Not seeds to Thank you to Patrick and all the staff who were with us at the time.
