   One or two staff are helpful, the majority are quite the opposite. Need help at the till ? You'll find the staff stood around close the self scan area in a huddle having a good gossip. You might have to break the huddle up to get any assistance. As for products, great if you are a pie and chips person, need something exotic like rigatoni or pretty much anything else "foreign" ? Try Sainsbury's. Why oh why we were so unlucky to get an Asda in Birchwood I'll never know.

   to many self checkouts that don't work correctly and frequently Red light items . staff are like zombies when this happens even though there are 6 or more standing around. Put the normal tills back in and give these staff something to do and speed up our shopping trips . More people through the checkout more sales !!! it's simple . ps:- shift all the crap from the way in as it's a fire hazard ! be a disaster trying to get through if there was an emergency.

   I was in the store today and noticed someone pushing a shopping trolley with a child standing in it jumping up and down which I found to be incredibly unhygienic, just when I thought it couldn't get any worse there was a women in the next row pushing a shopping trolley with her dog in the trolley walking round it as if it was a play pen. Normal people use these trolleys for food

   Had my sale refused due to an incorrect use of proxy sale, I myself work inside of a supermarket so I'm aware of what item's can be refused sale due to "proxy sale", these include alcohol, knives, gas canisters containing butane, cigarettes, e cigs, lottery and scratch cards and ect they are item's that have an 18+ age verification, what isn't included in this is medicine like paracetamol, ibuprofen and Calpol (because otherwise how would any child get medicine ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ ), and energy drinks which is what I was trying to buy, it was just really annoying getting both a colleague and a manager that didn't understand proxy law or understand what constitutes as a proxy sale, they need training Tldr they refused my sale and don't understand proxy law

   Never have anything on the shelves, have to check ALL packages for dates, more expensive than Tesco, Lidl and Aldi on numerous items. And the staff are more interested, in finding out how good each others evening were.

   The ticket says one price you go to a till and its more. Sometime pennyies to as much as a pounds in some cases.. Moled food twice photo evidence should that want to be looked at Depending what time you go the shop in empty and your lucky if you can pick up a loaf infact you have more chances of getting a reduced loaf depending when you go. James the manager just not bothered clearly. Il contine to go to cockerheadge never any issues in there

   I work in a near by office to this Asda store and therefore use it daily to purchase my lunch along with other items. However, recently I have been having daily issues when leaving the store as the security alarm has been being triggered and I feel like I am being accused of stealing. Each time a member of staff has to come and check my back / shopping for "security tags" being left on items - regardless of what I purchase, this is humiliating and degrading. If this is something to do with the increase in "self scan" checkouts then Asda need to trust its customers or re-staff the tills.

   It's an average sized Asda with plenty of free parking. Part of a medium sized shopping mall. Disappointed that they stopped doing custom pizza.
