Lovely and cosy pod, comfortable bed, hot running water, accommodating hosts, and in easy driving distance of beautiful walking trails.
Absolutely gem of a place! Pods are clean and well stocked. Ideal size for 2 adults and 2 young children. Playing field for children with toys and goal posts was ideal! Shelter with sofas and table tennis is a great addition if the weather isn't good.
We have just returned home from a lovely 2 night stay at Slate House Farm. We loved it. It’s well situated with plenty of pubs and restaurants locally. The pods are clean and have everything you need. A nice touch was the addition of marshmallows so we could toast them in the fire pit. The views are amazing and the owners couldn’t do enough whilst still not being intrusive. We will definitely be coming back

The pods were really nice and cozy. Equipped with ensuit, kitchen, TV, and small fridge. The bed was good for one adult and two kids, there was also another single bed/sitting. But we really enjoyed the outside bonfire and barbecue area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was raining continuously so they provided us DVDs to keep kids engaged. They also provide extra BBQ coal bags and wood for bonfire.
Owners are great friendly people. The pod was immaculate with everything you could ever need even tea coffee and milk for the first few cups and the all important marshmallow for toasting on the firepit and the logs are provided.Heater provided for the cold nights in September which was when we stayed. Dog friendly site will definitely be going back.
