The lady Laura was fantastic as we arrived slightly late as the walk we were on took longer than anticipated, when we rang she told us not to panic and she'd let us in still, and to travel safely which was lovely. The pod was very clean and tidy on arrival, mugs and hot drinks on a little table. The bed was very comfy and there was heating in the pod which made it warm and cosy. I just wished we could have stayed longer here! We will be back!!!”

Both Brodie and Jess were amazing at keeping me up to date and reassured, the mechanical work that has been done is brilliant and the body and paint work is equally brilliant! “A lovely little park with tennis courts and childrens play area. This park is home to bishops house a Tudor hunting lodge now a museum with Tudor period rooms. There are also wonderful panoramic views of Sheffield from the top of the hill. It is great for sledging in winter thanks to it's steep hills.”

“Lovely place but be VERY CAREFUL if following Google Maps directions - ours tried to take us via a woodland bridleway which was totally unsuitable. I think the maps route has been updated now (correct route is via Cupthorpe) but leaving this just in case.”

“Having gone down other routes unsuccessfully, we went to Property Plus Services in Mansfield for building work/ Kitchen fitting. He suggested we use Darren Scattergood at Hasland, for our design. We have to thank Darren for his patience, support, flair and professionalism. He designed us a beautiful kitchen. Even before the building works had been started. He got everything millimetre perfect and by working sensitively and proactively with us and the builder, he helped us turn chaos into beauty. Would not hesitate to highly reccomend. “Big shout out to Chesterfield's Halfords today! Battery issues resulting in recovery call out! At 3pm purchased a battery with fitting from them for 4pm. Home and warm by 5pm. Well done and thank you”

“Ive used this Halfords twice in the last year. The first time my late father in law van had a timing belt issue and whilst we figured out as a family what we were doing Halfords were very patient and allowed the vehicle to stay on site due to it being inoperable, they also cut in half the diagnostic charge as they were unable to fix. Secondly took my own car down for a diagnostic, given reasonable information and advice but not charged as could not be specific for the cause. Appreciated that. Staff are friendly and understanding. Thanks Halfords.”

“I couldn't fault the staff at Bensons for Beds, from Martin and his colleague in the show room, who were so helpful and knowledgeable, making our decision on which mattress to buy really easy, to the delivery drivers who kept us informed of when they would arrive and were really friendly, pleasant and on time. A mattress is an expensive purchase so you want to get it right and Bensons helped us do that, our mattress is great, and sleep is now greatly improved and we are no longer waking up in pain! “Iceland is conveniently located on market street beside a car park so is easily accessible. In store well laid out as usual with a very vast selection of . Different styles of chicken, pork, beef, chips, dairy and is reasonably priced really!! Staff are friendly and everything is laid on in sections so you know where to locate what you want!”

“Went with the kids to kill some time and got alot more than we bargained for. Went for a walk around the cricket field, on past the cafe, toilets, and playground. Round the lake (unfortunately miniature train only runs during the school holidays so will have to go back when we're over next time) and back to the ice cream van. Headed up to another playground where they also have all weather soccer pitch. But to top it off for the kids, there was a funfair which was just opening, made their day. Watched some cricket before we left. Spotlessly clean. Suitable for wheelchairs and budgies. Plenty of space for picnics.”

“Somersall Park is a great family location with lots of space to picnic and play. The Hipper river flows through but is shallow enough to paddle around in on hot sunny days. Dogs love it here, too.”

“A spontaneous breakfast date for my husband and I. We had been here for drinks before but never eaten. It was incredible, our hostess Sarah was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, big smile on her face and a quick chat everything she stopped by. How she got around the restaurant serving everyone so fast I will never know but she was a stellar hostess. The food was beyond delicious, the eggs were cooked to perfection, the sausage and bacon was mouth-watering. The lovely surprise of unlimited coffee was definitely a boon. The restaurant was nice and quiet, the atmosphere wonderfully calm. We had a lovely much needed date and chose the perfect place. Thankyou to all at the Harvester for a wonderful visit.”

“Just returned from a holiday to Torquay had a lovely 5 days at the Devonshire Hotel .The staff are really friendly with nothing too much trouble, the room was comfortable, clean and warm, and plenty of choice on the menu and the meals are all self service which I prefer. Although the hotel is on a hill the bus stops are right outside the hotel door and across the road .We had Barry excellent driver and a lovely man.”

“I go here to the gym 4-5 times a week. I like the equipment they have. It recently had a refurbishment in the gym, which has made a huge difference. I'm disappointed to see the plate loaded linear leg press was removed and replaced with a hack squat, but overall, I'm happy with the gym.”
