Bought a table 12 months ago and recently noticed that it had bowed. I emailed Indigo in the morning and half an hour later I had a reply saying they would contact their supplier. By the afternoon I had a phone call to tell me a new table top would be with me the next week! Absolutely amazing customer service, can't fault them at all and would definitely recommend this shop. The guys who came and swapped the top were great as well, swift, tidy and professional. Five stars all round!

I've shopped here several times. They also have a much smaller shop in the Gordale site. Even the smell of this big shop is lovely. I like it because their range is more quirky/Boho in my opinion, yet not outlandishly colourful as I usually go for. Very helpful staff took my pieces out for me and gave me the measurements of a dressing table. Parking is right outside, so you don't have to worry about intense parking of the Croft retail park.

I had high hopes for Indigo as the new store in Bromborough is beautifully decorated and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately however my experience has been quite mixed and I would encourage you to shop around before you order something. I ordered a triple wardrobe and bedside cabinet from the store in June. I was happy to find that due to the Platinum Jubilee there was a “10% off sale” from the weekend before, with signs advertising the promotion attached to wardrobes. When enquiring about this promotion we were told that it was now in fact over and we would not receive a discount. Upon leaving the store we were followed by a store assistant who informed us that due to them forgetting to remove the promotive material they would honour the sale if we ordered today. We agreed to order that day as the 10% off was a good offer and the wardrobe seemed perfect. After signing the price and leaving… the problems started. A few days later I received a call saying that we owed an extra £45 for them to fit a double coat hanger in the wardrobe despite this extra cost not being mentioned when we *signed* on a cost with two colleagues present in store. I made my views clear to the person on the phone but they did not seem sympathetic to the fact that there was a hidden cost unmentioned to us and this was the mistake of a store colleague. She even mentioned that she can’t let the £45 slip because we already received 10% off the wardrobe…. Well yes we did, but that was only because they forgot to remove the 10% banners off the wardrobe, that was their mistake too. I paid the extra £45 because mistakes happen and there wasn’t really a choice in the matter. When the wardrobe arrived, there were three major damaged parts, one of them had even been filled in with some white plastic filler, completely unprofessional, whilst one had a crack down the side. When I rang to report the fault I was greeted by half an apology, with the promise to replace, which I accepted. The next wardrobe arrived four weeks later, this was also damaged too. Why does their supplier not check their stock? The delivery crew are very careful and friendly… I doubt it would have been them who caused this. This new, also damaged, wardrobe was chipped on the door (which Indigo replaced a week later thankfully) and a scratch on the side, I agreed to take compensation for this instead of a replacement because I didn’t want to wait another four weeks and possibly have a third damaged wardrobe delivered. I was offered £100 off the wardrobe, this is probably on the lower end of the spectrum of what I would have wanted in return, but it was all I was getting, plus I was fed up of the entire process which had started in June. I like my products and they are good quality, sadly it took a very long time to get there. I like Indigo but I wouldn’t shop there again due to my experience. This place has real potential but the issues of supply and hidden costs are off putting. If you do shop at Indigo, I urge you to ensure that the price that you sign at is the correct one.
