All basics provided for, tea/coffee facilities, hot water, room made up each day for three night stay (no clean towels!), small bar soap, basic shampoo etc. Room 4, shabbiest room I have ever stayed in, just about every item, surface and utility was dented, scratched or damaged in some way including black mold on window frame from condensation and split caulking behind toilet! I can see that the accommodation may have had some trendy value when it first opened but this room has not been touched since then. This is definitely not 5 star accommodation in any way shape or form. My wife suggested taking pictures but, honestly, I would have needed 100gb of cloud space to upload them and had better things to do.

We stayed at Manorhaus and had a great time. The rooms are lovely, the breakfasts are tasty, the warmth of the hosts is remarkable.

Absolutely lovely, clean, stylish, private and comfortable. Great communication. This is a real gem.

The room we had was lovely but contrary to what the web site said our group were unable to dine there on the Tuesday. It looked and felt like an experiment on how to run a hotel with two people, very nice people would add.

Beautiful boutique hotel, comfy bed, clean room, quality linen and furnishings, helpful hosts. We couldn't recommend highly enough. We would definitely stay again 5 stars!

Perfect little boutique hotel and restaurant. The owners were super-helpful both before and during my stay. I stayed in Room 1, which is the small double, but perfect for one person, comfortable and pretty with everything I needed. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and delicious, as was dinner. It's right in the centre of Ruthin, so handy for everything.

Stayed last night in the suite. Absolutely immaculate! Couldn't fault our stay and will be back in a heartbeat. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Lovely hotel. The cleanest Hotel room I think we've ever stayed in. Honestly wasn't a spec of dust. Bed super comfy and beautiful view of the courtyard. We didn't eat here as ate whilst attending the festival, but the food did smell delicious when we got in. Really lovely stay and would recommend.

Absolutely love this little place. Rooms are lovely and clean and have everything you need for a good nights rest. The food was fantastic and the service was 10/10. All round great place to stay and we would definately visit again. Gavin was a really lovely host!!

Really nice old hotel with history. Great location. The food looked amazing. Didn't eat there. Was 25 for 2 course and 30 for 3 courses. 10 for breakfast

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night as we were visiting family in the area. We have two large pooches that they were happy to accommodate. Great room on the top floor with great views of Ruthin and the surrounding hills. The rooms were well appointed and to a high standard. The bathroom was extremely luxurious. Bed was incredible comfy with feather duvet and pillows. There were two dog beds for our pooches and bowls for food and water. We had breakfast in the dining room and not a morsel was left on our plates. Minimal contact with anyone if you’re afraid of covid. Despite this being a dog friendly hotel it DID NOT smell of dogs, not even in our room. Would happily stay here again, even without pooches!
