We are very lucky to have this theatre in Southampton. They have some fantastic shows and the place is always clean. Only downside is it is quite expensive. But it doesn't stop me from booking a show every year.

Lovely staff and well maintained theatre. We have been there for 3 different shows this year and all very different but superbly put on.

LG did a theatre tour and the watched a production. Amazing. We have also been to many other productions too. All fab. I have to park further away than the nearest car park as the closest one has a height restriction of 186cm so my car doesn't quite fit. Just something to bear in mind.

I've now seen 2 shows at the Mayflower theatre and I've been very impressed! Both views, although different, have been unrestricted and have given a good view of the stage. There is always a good selection of shows here and it is a good distance from the train station and a couple of car parks

Theatre is as good as any in New York or Toronto. Sightlines were good. Nice feature was rental opera glasses at the seats for a pound. Production was high quality including many complex aerial performances and nice sets. Highly recommended

Travelled from London to see Joseph at the Mayflower. Was such an amazing show, all cast were brilliant. Staff inside the theatre were super friendly and helpful. Merchandise is fairly expensive but that's to be expected at a show unfortunately. Beautiful theatre from 1928. Great views from pretty much every seat.

A beautiful theatre, we had a fantastic time watching a show. Nearby parking and easy to navigate to, I would happily watch another show here! Snack bars in the theatre sell ice cream at the interval.

I really like this theatre, which regularly brings good shows down from London. The inside has classic theatre charm, and the acoustics are pretty good (saw Book of Mormon sitting in the stalls and it was a great audio/visual experience) The toilets are teeny tiny though, so don’t leave it long in the intermission to queue up… or don’t get a drink before the show lol.

So far this year I've been 3 times but been going to this theatre since I was young. It's a fantastic theatre offering a wide selection of different theatrical performances from plays to musicals to Panto and comedians. The seats are reasonable for the quality of performance you see as well. This is a large theatre with lots of seating but stage is medium size so pick you seats wisely. Saying that, you'll still enjoy it sat wherever you are inside the Mayflower
