Stayed here for 1 night to attend a show. Room was surprisingly better than expected. It was clean and beds were comfy. We were on the 3rd floor and there were a lot of steps to get to the level. Location was perfect for Victoria. We paid extra for a small buffet breakfast the next morning and it was good value for money. London is expensive but this place was value for money. Dont know if I would stay here for more than 2 nights tho.

For the price we paid we expected a lot better but despite everything that was wrong with the room, the customer service was worse, they really didn't care about the problems we encountered and obviously don't care for the rooms at all. What stopped me from giving it a two star rating was the other guests didn't disturb us so we did sleep well even though we had to get the bed sheets changed because they had blood or food or something on them when we arrived. Some of the sockets didn't work so we couldn't charge our phones next to the bed The phone to call reception to complain about the dirty bedding didn't work The light fixtures were wonky There was a chunk missing from the wall above a bed The bathroom door had no lock on it The carpet was ripped The room was dirty And when we complained about the bedding before going out they didn't apologise or even acknowledge that was an issue they just said they'd get a maintenance man to have a look. So we asked them to change the bedding completely before we came back from our evening out and when we checked out the next day there wasn't only no apology or follow-up, they didn't even say goodbye or thank you. We had also left a special request in an email when we booked it and they not only didn't do it, but they didn't let us know they weren't going to which led us to believe they were going to honour it. They could have just emailed to say no. Really poor service, gross room, okayish location. Would not recommend.

we were there for 2 nights. Its perfectly located 10 minutes walking from victoria station. We could leave our luggage there before check- in and after check out which was great. The room was really small aswell as the bathroom but it was enough for us since we were only there to sleep anyway. We had a nice view aswell. The staff was very friendly and happy to help with anything. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a good location, but that’s really the only positive thing. The rooms weren’t very clean, and we had to let the reception know if we wanted fresh towels or our room cleaned. Even though we did that properly, no one came — the room wasn’t cleaned and the towels weren’t changed. On top of that, you can hear every single step from the floor above, which can be quite annoying if you’re sensitive to noise. There are bedbugs present — got bitten the very first night!!! The problem is solves very well, I getted a full refund thanks to the workers! I am happy!

We had a great stay for 4 nights. Room was cosy and clean and it has all needed facilities (except of teaspoons but we received them in reception). Staff was friendly and helpfull. Localisation was really convenient: less than 30 minutes walk to Westminster Abbey or Big Ben and just 5 minutes to Victoria Coach Station. I highly reccomend this hotel if you want to have comfort stay in a reasonable price. I have to admit that I've never slept in such a comfortable bed!

I saw the reviews here just before travel and I got worried. (We booked based on booking reviews that aren't that bad...) We spent 4 days in this hotel and finally had good experience. Pro: location, price (compare to London standard), clean room (daily cleaning), clean linen and towels (towels are changed every day), simple but ok breakfast, quiet room (we were in the basement next to noisy generators, but windows sealed perfectly), air condition we used for heating, hairdryer. Cons: small room, small bed (bit narrow for 2 people and a bit short for 184cm). Window looked to an air-shaft so no view and dark and noisy if window was opened. Fitted carpet was used. So my evaluation would be 3,5 stars, bit give 4 because all in all we had great time here.

Just back from a 3 night stay here. Our room was on the 1st floor so no elevator wasn't really an issue for us. Room was compact but modern and spotlessly clean. Fresh towels every day, coffee/ tea replenished every day. Breakfast was choice of cereal, toast, croissant, pastries, bread rolls, ham, cheese, selection of fruit, yogurt, fruit juice and coffee machine was spot on! I read the reviews about this hotel and was really dreading my stay here but I was pleasantly surprised! There was clean pleasant smell throughout the hotel... It wasn't any more noisy than other hotels, you'll always here doors opening and closing and voices in corridors, it wasn't a major issue. The bed was a small double but it was comfortable and clean.... For the price and the location I honestly couldn't fault it. Our room looked freshly painted, if I had to pick a fault I would say the voile on the windows was a little grubby but that really is just being picky... We would definitely stay here again.

On arrival of my stay the room I had been allocated was unacceptable and dangerous. The whole experience I had during my 1-night stay was awful, and this hotel shouldn't be allowed to operate in its current state. On my initial walking up to the room there was bed linen and towels on the stairs in front of fire extinguishers. In such an event as a Fire this could be a trip hazard or worse render access to the fire extinguishers useless. There was a hole in the ceiling, torn curtains, stained walls, bed, and walls. The hair dryer had electrical tape holing it together and questionable PAT testing label. I hope you can work on these details. I didn't sleep very well at all and have had to seek other arrangements for the remainder of my stay. I would not recommend staying here.

The best thing about the hotel is the location, as other people have already described. Our room was on the third floor and there is no elevator, so we had our problems getting our suitcases to the room. The rooms are extremely noisy, even after the official night's rest (10 pm) we could hear people stomping around directly above us at 11:30 pm. The rooms were not properly cleaned, there was hair and dust everywhere, overnight my cell phone display was full of dust. The room was way too small for 3 people, especially the double bed, as well as the bathroom. The hair dryer is outside the bathroom and once during use just went out. The electrical outlets worked fine. Breakfast in the basement was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The staff at breakfast kept jumping around between people, they didn't say anything, they didn't really come across as friendly. So if you place a lot of value on the location in the city center and have few demands on the accommodation, this is the right place, the hotel is also not too expensive.
