A lovely Boxing Day trip out, would recommend as a trip out! Would like to go in a different season to see how it’s different, but overall a lovely walk. Definitely recommend seeing the otter feeding at 11am or 2pm - so time your trip with this in mind. Free parking when you attend, lovely cafe and gift shop.

Great day out, a lovely nature haven right in London. There was lots of information and clear, accessible routes to see lots of birds and even some otters. Wish we'd come for longer and brought binoculars for the hides!

London Wetland Centre is a peaceful escape from the city, full of wildlife and beautiful walking paths. A lovely hidden gem is the playground – tucked away, perfect for kids to explore while adults enjoy the scenery. Highly recommend for a calm, family-friendly day out.

Great place for kids and serious nature lovers. Our 5 and 7 year olds had a great time and sustained interest from 10.30-3.30 with huge range of activities. Video game incorporating kids sketches a particular favourite. Catering good but slow

Great place to visit alone or with the kids. Very spacious so you cannot feel any crowd and great species to observe. My favorite are the whistling ducks. So cute. Of course one of the hit are the otters too who granted us a nice display or swimming and play for a good 30min.

Lots of parking a short distance to the main entrance On entry the staff on the tills were very welcoming, super helpful and friendly too I was soooo amazed how beautiful this place was, what with it being so close to the City of London The pathways were easy to walk along. Good footwear is always advised as some had a few little puddles. Signage to the hides and routes is very clear. Hides are so spacious. Some have soft padded seats too so makes it nicer to sit and take in the wildlife for longer periods, I did and enjoyed my packed lunch too Everywhere else is really well maintained and clean too. The shop has an assortment of gifts and even goes as far as selling binoculars and scopes Definitely going to revisit as it was one of my best birdwatching days ever

Love the outdoors you’ll love this place. Bird watchers bring your binoculars! Free parking, food, map of walk, gift shop.. Otters to see when out, lots of wildlife, benches to watch and entertainment. Great for all ages, playgrounds to keep kids entertained and activities along the way. Highly recommend.

Great place to wander around for a few hours - close to Kew Gardens and Richmond Park. You can see a wide variety of birds as well as the otters. The site has a nice cafe and shop as well. We went late in the day and I think they should offer a cheaper rate for that as its a bit expensive for families

Cannot have fallen in love with a nature reserve faster. So many hides to sit and watch the birds from, so many small lakes with all varieties of duck. May have required a toilet at the furthest end of the west wing but otherwise cannot fault it. Perfect for bringing young kids to educate them about wildlife too. If you're after the most beautiful spot, head to the reed beds on the south wing - pure serenity!

Stunningly beautiful! My daughter went with the school and liked it so much that we went again at the weekend. It's really well taken care of and incredibly rewarding as a family. We will definitely look at membership.
