Just had a 2 night stay here, what a great place and would highly recommend, comfy beds for a good sleep and great tasty plentiful food. As well as breakfast we also had dinner on our first night - delicious. Staff were lovely and Ben extremely welcoming. Would definitely stay here again

We popped in here for breakfast with quite a large party on a whim. They were fantastic from the moment we came in. The chap who runs the place is possibly the nicest person youβll ever meet! Food was fantastic and incredible value. They whipped up pancakes specially for the children and they tasted amazing! Lovely place lovely food!

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was small but this is an old building so that is to be expected. Super comfortable bed so great nights sleep. Local beer in the bar and very popular spot. Great breakfast and very friendly hosts. Would be happy to visit again.

This is a classic 16th century bar/hotel with great beer, friendly locals and good food. The hotel is exactly what you would expect from an old building, full of charecter and really quaint. The staffare supurb and just add to make it a very pleasant place to visit. I will certainly be returning when next back in the area.

Fantastic pub & hotel! Free parking to the front and rear of the pub. Nice cosy room, went downstairs for tea, partner had the hunters chicken with chips & peas, said it was the best chicken heβd ever had! Only thing Iβd ask for on the menu is a vegetarian option but I happily tucked into my halloumi fries and cheesy chips. Nights sleep for us both was good and so was breakfast, greeted by the nice staff with plenty of choice available. Some reviews here mention no staff available at breakfast time but being a relatively small establishment they of course will be busy prepping orders put in first. Partner enjoyed full English and I loved my beans on toast! Thank you very much for a pleasant stay!

Passing through Cleobury today we stopped at the Talbot for lunch. We had roast pork which was suburb. Good portion, nice veg and all really hot. Very reasonably priced. Well done Nick and staff !

Great breakfast the girl serving was lovely and very helpful. Rooms were good the only little niggle was when i asked my partner if i could open a window when moving the curtains it had obviosuly had not been hoovered there for years. The cobwebs were massive. And the shower had black mould in. I know its an old building but these few things need addressing.

Further to my review this morning. I was locked in the pub/hotel with no access out. I had to use the fire escape to exit. Building completely locked. The local fire department need to visit due to exit restrictions.

Booked in advance as we are in the area for a few days. Great location, a warm welcome and good beer. Breakfast included. The room is cozy and part of an old coaching inn :)

I came from Birmingham on Sunday 16th October 2022 & visited from this Hotel Pub bar for soft drinks and a meal with friends that live in Shropshire. I have a Akita puppy who loves people and other dogs. This was a brilliant place to bring her! The locals were very friendly, she had lots of fuss which she loves, and the staff were exceptional. The food was really nice. My puppy was so relaxed she had a little lay down and loved her food so much she didnβt look up until she was full. The atmosphere was great, I will definitely be visiting again and now I know a lovely place where I can bring my dog too.
