Poor store wouldn't accept my return as it had been opened and resealed. Pathetic staff spoke to 3 of them...all 3 were pathetic. Items were in perfect order I simply opened the box to check item.

I just today took a Breville water heater back as it stopped working after approx 4 months. I was told that I had to have a receipt from the purchase that was online, (I took all the details of the transaction and screenshot with me) and that anyway, as it was purchased over 3 months ago, I’d have to deal with the manufacturer and it was nothing to do with Argos now. This is contrary to the consumer rights act 2015. On both levels. Beware if this poor, unlawful advice being arbitrarily handed out at this Argos location. I’ll be taking it up with Trading Standards.

This Argos branch is pure comedy, but not in a good way. The staff look like they’ve been forced into community service, and the manager? Absolute star of the show. They strut around like they’re the CEO of a luxury brand when in reality, they can’t even manage to keep a queue moving. The attitude is so bad it’s almost impressive — like they’ve trained for years just to perfect the art of being unhelpful. Honestly, if customer service had a Rotten Tomatoes rating, this place would be at 0% with critics and audiences alike

This is honestly the worst store I’ve ever dealt with. The manager here has no idea what customer service even means. I came in with an item that online customer service had already authorised for return, but she refused to process it. Instead of helping, she raised her voice at me and actually yelled. Completely unprofessional, unbelievably rude, and totally unnecessary. It’s hard to understand how Argos can allow someone like this to run a store. If this is the level of “management” they think is acceptable, then the whole company needs to rethink its standards. Customers deserve respect, not hostility. Avoid this store at all costs. Never buy anything from here. Argos needs to take a serious look at who they’ve put in charge, because this was one of the most unhelpful and unpleasant shopping experiences imaginable.

Don't buy from here. If your headphones don't fit properly Argos won't refund them and will completely ignore the "Fit for Purpose" Consumer Right. Spent £169 on Samsung Buds 3 Pro and now I'm forced to sell them myself for a significant loss. Raised a dispute with my bank and the response from Argos head office was that I WOULD be allowed to return them in store with a Samsung reference number (which i had, and provided to both store and head office), and asked me where was the proof that I tried to return them? They could have checked their own CCTV for proof, why would I have proof that I tried to return them? Anyway, tried again to return them in store having been told by Argos head office that I should be allowed to return them and guess what, store still didn't accept it. I'm all for supporting the highstreet but you can see why Amazon are taking over with shops like Argos around. I bought new headphones from Amazon and checked their return policy, they would have let me return them even if I simply changed my mind!

Manager needs training- had a faulty product spoke to a duty manager named Sam who does not know how to speak to people or explain herself. not fit for the position and walked out more frustrated with her rather than my device.

I won't be using this store again after dealing with the rude staff here, from being told I'm standing in the wrong queue to not listening my questions or issues. Better signage and better trained staff are needed.

Awful customer service. Treated like a suspected criminal by the manager. He checked if the phone was working which I didn't have a problem with but then quizzes me on if I made phone calls ect on it and telling me all the reasons they wouldn't take it back one of them being actually using the phone. There's nothing stopping anyone wiping recent calls or messages off it so checking these would be pointless. The phone was returned as the ringer wasn't loud enough for my elderly mother. Also because I didn't return what was essentially a free sim card I was charged £1 for it. I couldn't be bothered to argue with them. Won't be using this branch again.

When collecting an order from eBay, staff will question on what the item is? One of the members of staff is very rude and another will shake and feel what an item is, This has happened many times. The only time I've had a good experience here is when certain members of staff are not on the tills.
