   It was my first time at Tantra yesterday and will certainly not be my last. Lovely modern restaurant with great high quality food. The food was delicious and portions generous. There was also a good selection of wines. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and I definitely intend returning.

   Absolutely fantastic food and presentation using dry ice. Quirky dishes. Tantra put their own magical twist on Indian cuisine, an experience not to be missed. Our waitress, Chippy went above and beyond, extremely helpful, very pleasant and provided us with great information on the dishes that were served. We returned from the North East of England after dining here last year and we will always make a visit when we return to Edinburgh.

   The only reason for the three stars is that this place is over-hyped. I went there with huge expectations after the praise it got from the press. Honestly I was not impressed. Food was good, but nothing special. Cocktails are mediocre to say the least. A lot of effort has gone into presentation, but unfortunately I can't say the same for the quality. Don't get me wrong, all the dishes were nice and it's a nice Indian- Asian fusion restaurant, but nothing extraordinary. There are several places like this in the area. I think putting more effort to improve the food and drinks quality and some changes to the internal decorations will add a lot. I'm sure you can see why the atmosphere was 1 star... Hopefully this helps.

   Food was delicious with loaded vegan protein in multiple options which is nice. But the service is mediocre. Took an hour to get our food from when we sat down, we continually ran out of water, and couldn’t get the attention of the server very easily who seemed to be stressed out and forgot us several times. Definitely make reservations ahead of time as they borderline require it

   Honestly speaking, this is the best cocktail I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t just taste great, but looks too - a piece of art. Many thanks to Mr.Hubert for letting us discover your talent. And thank Priya for helping us to choose this delicious meal from the rich menu they have. P.S their food is halal. Definitely recommended.

   We stumbled across Tantra while looking for a place to eat one evening and it was absolutely fantastic. From the unique cocktails to the delicious food, the entire meal was the highlight of our day. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the presentation was fun and colourful. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a unique dining experience.

   Ambience is great, staffs are friendly, good collections of alcohol but food was not great. I like to advise its not India food for sure. They serve Indian snacks, still they don’t have flavours of Indian spices. We tried Briyani which was worst and some mains, all were not good. Only presentation is good. Quantity and taste, price..are not good. I will share photos of the dishes I liked it but it’s not worth, It’s very expensive.

   Amazing Experience - Highly recommend I visited Tantra with family for a birthday dinner .The staff were friendly and welcoming. They have an exciting menu for food and drinks. The food was flavourful and delicious .The cocktails were so different and tasted great. Absolutely loved the presentation especially the use of dry ice which was new to us. Special mention for the birthday special dessert. It was a great fine dining experience. Will definitely come back with family and friends.

   Fine dining Indian food in Edinburgh. Packed with spices and flavours at the best. The food is incredible, Service is perfect, ambience is superb. We had the tasting menu which was perfect. Simply Amazing, can’t recommend this place enough. We had a feel of Michelin star experience, an absolutely wonderful Indian restaurant in Castle street, Edinburgh.
