Ordered take away when came said I didn’t pay enough had to phone back not my problem but didn’t need to feel like I was being dodgy as delivery driver made me phone before he’d give me my food Shute was a scam to be honest as added it up an even with delivery they were trying to cost. E nearly 8 quid

Been using them for years and had no problem but it's totally different now, phoned them tonight for a chicken satay , beef curry and a chilli chicken chow mein, the chicken satay tastes like it was 2 or 3 days old and got swept out the bottom of an old oven tray, the oven tastes like it's not been cleaned in a long time and the grease tastes old and stale, the beef curry was swimming in grease , and the chow mein was just poisoned with black pepper and soya sauce. I'm going to go in and see them through this week as it was disgusting. Won't be using them again tbh.
Honestly, it was the worst meal I've had in a long time. Used to order from here regularly but 'll never order here again. Absolutely tasteless. Full of salt. Onions tasted off. Chips were reheats. Curry sauce was dark salty and tasteless. Went in the bin.
Ordered sat night food was luke warm , trays half fill and prawn crackers in crumbs. Terrible meal will not be back this place has gone right downhill
Love this Chinese Takeaway. Friendly staff, amazing food, and very reasonably priced. If you've not tried it, please do, you will not be disappointed. It's cash only in the shop, however if you order over the phone you can pay by card.
Outstanding. Got my first order this evening. Food was delicious and generous portions beautifully presented. Prawn toasts were truly crunchy...as they should be! I'll be back. Cannot recommend highly enough.
I ordered a meal this evening after moving back to EK after a few years away. This was my favourite place to get a meal from but tonight has made sure that I never order from where again. The rice, was a clump, not fluffy or falling apart and had to try cut it to separate it with a fork. The curry tasted nothing at all like it did a few years ago and to be honest, it will go down as the worst curry I’ve had in many years. The food was not hot, even though I waited over an hour for the delivery, calling the restaurant to be told my food ‘has jus this second come out of the Kitchen and would be with me very soon’. I don’t know whose kitchen it just came out of because it arrived cold. The chow mien (which I told friends was the best in EK) hence why we ordered from the Cathay tonight, I now have to retract my comment of them being the best because I can hand on heart say I will NEVER place another order from here. The noodles were cold, there was absolutely no sauce at all and it was bone dry, which isn’t appetising at all. Whatever had happened over the last two + years, things have gone down hill extremely fast! It has gone from one of the best places to rest to (IMO) one of the worst! The food is ver y poor and it is evident that the kitchen staff must have changed because you would be guaranteed a delicious meal a few years ago but now I would not advice anyone to use them because the food is just not worth the money they change. Avoid if you want to enjoy a decent meal with family and friends, because you will be nothing but disappointed.
The food is delicious, my favorite hot sour soup, Singapore fried rice.my family loves it.
