This place was truly beautiful, the food was absolutely amazing and Ro was such a lovely server who made sure everything was okay and went above and beyond. Love this place, best meal in Edinburgh Ive had and the prices were amazing on the set winter menu x

Looks beautiful from the outside which enticed us in for breakfast. Didn't disappoint was absolutely delicious and the staff were fantastic really chatty and explained the vegan haggis to me. Well worth the visit. See you soon on our next visit to Edinburgh.

Beautiful decor, very nice place to be, and very friendly and attentive service. We had brunch and it's all fine. Full Monty breakfasts are small to average size and a bit expensive. But, that said, it's a lovely atmosphere on a Sunday and enjoyed the visit.

Any place that gives only 1 sausage with a full breakfast will be marked down in Scotland. Food was fine. Services was ok but little odd. When asking for sugar for my coffee and was handed 2 cubes. Clearly on ration lol.

Beautiful little restaurant with a friendly team. The coffees were good but the food was a bit of a let down. We had the skillet which was served in a bowl and the flavours/combination just didn't work in my opinion, sorry. Would definitely be back to try something different next time.

Montpellier used to be the point of reference of how “pub” food can be point of reference and next level. Unfortunately after the lock does the situation changed dramatically. Food barely exceed the base line and the process still keep raising without any justification at this point. For example, got a burger and added as extra pull pork which comes with a hefty price around 2£ (!!). I couldn’t find it in the burger and I asked if they forgot it. After deconstructing all of the burger we managed to find two threads of pull pork. Plus the burger itself was well well done at the level it was crumbling, that dry! For a burger total cost close to £17 totally unacceptable. The place continues to be a treat for the eye and it’s definitely a great atmosphere. Prices of drinks are on the high end for pics but ok.

Fantastic place!! Great staff, great atmosphere, gorgeous food and great cocktails. Well worth the visit despite being slightly away from the city centre.

Quite a hip place this. We had a lovely seat outside in the sun and it was very busy inside. Didn't try food but did look and smell good. This place has a good selection of gins but it is a bit on the pricey side. Would definitely return if in the area.

Update: Although breakfast was good, my revisit for lunch was below standard. The steak burger was bland, dry and tasteless with an oversized bun for £14. I have to drop my rating to 3 stars. An amazing breakfast, tasty, wholesome and well priced. There is enough footfall to keep this place fresh and the service is polished. The breakfast service was calm and enjoyable. They have a good range of options ranging from eggs to a full Scottish breakfast. I know it can get quite busy and noisy for lunch and dinner, particularly on the weekends. Overall, for a Tuesday morning breakfast, it was perfect, nothing to fault on my end.
