   Great beer, with the full range on tap, and great food - really good burger, with some interesting sides. Friendly staff and well stocked shop (with all beers in the fridge ready chilled!) Outside patio area as well as the inside bar and back room.

   Amazing venue. All looking sprightly and fresh so I'm assuming it's fairly new. Plenty of free parking, which is good because it's on the edge of an industrial estate so unlikely many will be walking in. Lots of delicious draft beers available including a couple of AF. I particularly enjoyed the Lagerita as it was really refreshing and the sun was blasting when we visited. My favourite beer of the afternoon was Dos Mio! A beer with jalapeno and lime, unusual and a little reminiscent of a strong Ginger Beer with it's spiceyness, but with a clear aroma and taste of jalapeno. Bought a hat and some cans in the gift shop which had some very well stocked fridges. One minor complaint is that is wasn't clear which parts of the place were open at whet times from the online profile, e.g. bar open at 3pm, shop closes at 4pm and food starts at 5pm. Only a small gripe but had we had this information we would have gone a little later and had some food. Great place though. Totally recommend the place and can't wait to go back again.

   Excellent tap room which serves food. There is also a beer shop on site which also sells merchandise. Seating inside and out and very quick service on the food. Plenty of parking available. You can book a table if busy but note this is only for 3 hours. We did not book and we were fine even though plenty of people in.

   The beers were really good with a fab selection. We had pies for food and they were really great. The staff were really friendly and helped us make our choices, taking into consideration what we liked. There is a gorgeous big log burner which added to the atmosphere.

   Wedding Beer! We bought casks with Tempest for our wedding recently and can't rate them enough. They were very communicative, helped us with choosing how much to order, and did sale or return on the casks so we were able to return the unopened cask. Their delivery and pickup was super cost effective and really took the stress off us. They also returned our deposit money extremely quickly which is always nice! All in all it worked out at about £1.90 a pint. Finally, and most importantly, the beer (Pale Armadillo) was absolutely delicious! We had a number of vegans and celiacs in attendance and it was so nice that they could all have some too. Only thing that would add to the experience is if they start stocking cask stands to rent too - though my brother and dad did a pretty good job at knocking one up from a fallen tree!

   What's not to like! A wee gem, set in an industrial estate the Tempest Taproom is a joy. Tickles yer taste buds with a selection of exquisite brews and delicious street food, even had live music.

   Cameron was a great and knowledgeable tour guide, happy to answer all of our questions! The bar area is is cute and has good vibes. Great beers on tap, well stocked shop, and friendly staff. Also a short walk to the train station in tweedbank so you don’t have to drive!
