Would really recommend this place to anyone! We shared the babaganoush, cod cheeks, lamb and cauliflower - all super delicious! The staff members were all very friendly and the vibe of the restaurant was lovely. I want to particularly highlight the tahini cookie we had for dessert, absolutely amazing!

(Photo of receipt attached to see prices!) First of all, our server Mckinley was so lovely, helpful, made recommendations, and he brought the vibes completely! Secondly, the food was immense. I'm still dreaming about the hummus and labneh 2 weeks later, and i am not normally a lamb girly but my adana was delicious :) Decor is gorgeous, cosy and stylish and in a fab location - we came from a friend's recommendation and loved everything !

We had the most amazing dinner here for our final night in Edinburgh. The food was exceptional, but even more than that - the service was probably the best weβve ever had. Mckinley went so above and beyond with his food recommendations (we left every decision to him), and was just such a genuinely kind person. He didnβt know weβd just gotten engaged, and made the experience so special for us anyways. Thanks Mckinley and Baba!

Just finished a great dinner at Baba. Firstly, the service was first rate. Our server Lucy was super friendly, knowledge and attentive but never intrusive. The food came out quickly but we weren't ever rushed. And the food was very, very good. The mezze was inventive and delicious with the cherry harrisa mozzarella and the Baba ganoush being standouts for me. The lamb and haggis skewers were also super tasty. The chicken thighs with batata hara were also absolutely delicious but I would've loved to see them presented whole instead of chopped into small pieces. The desert of tahini cookie was rich and indulgent but not too sweet and lifted by wee nuggets of orange to cut through the nutty goodness. We paid around Β£175 for 3 diners which is great value considering we each had two alcoholic drinks and a dessert as well as the set "favourites" menu with with an added Baba ganoush for good measure. We will definitely be back soon.

Food was extra great. All cooked fresh on the spot. Clean, fresh and no processed ingredients. Tasty modern Lebanese/Mediterranean dishes. No halal meat or chicken. The dishes are actually small so you'd know, not for hungry nights, but delicious. A sumptuous atmosphere, worth it.

Sophia was amazing. She noticed that we had been sitting for some time and hadn't been acknowledged by our server. She apologized and treated us to a glass of champagne. We had a lovely dinner after that. The manager(?) Was also attentive afterwards and checked to make sure everything was okay. Then, Sophia misunderstood a request of ours for dinner, we wanted to share the beef plate and also order the pork neck but she thought we had said to order that in case the beef was unavailable. It was a simple mistake and we weren't bothered by the fact that we didn't get it because we did order plenty other food. Still, Sophia treated us up dessert as well. She was really solid all around. The good was also quite good. I'm happy we were able to get in.

Absolutely amazing!! I didnβt expect to find a restaurant like this in Edinburgh but Iβm so glad we did. Everything we ordered was incredible! Such a great combination of flavors in every dish. This was one of the best meals we ate on our recent trip, definitely worth checking out if youβre able to get a table.

A masterful culinary experience! The atmosphere is decadent - we were there on a night they took over rooms from the neighboring hotel (which we were told they do when busy on the weekends). But the real show stopper was the food. So flavorful, amazing texture combinations. Highly recommend especially for vegetarians. The grilled artichoke and falafel plate was unrivaled.

Really lovely restaurant, we were very impressed. Despite some previous reviews, we found that service was generally very friendly, although slow to to take our drinks order. Highlights were the cauliflower fritters, chicken leg grill and the olive oil sponge, although all the food was delicious & packed with flavour. We were advised that a snack/mezze, grill and side per person would be sensible and found this to be good advice. Definitely not cheap though.

One of my favourite places in Edinburgh. Iβve been coming to this place on and off for years and it never disappoints. Great atmosphere, food is incredible and prices are pretty reasonable for the quality you get. Service is also impeccable. Iβd easily recommend it for anyone visiting Edinburgh!
