   Absolutely fantastic restaurant. We went on a Friday and had their Tomahawk steak offer. I would 100% recommend it. The steak was cooked perfectly, all the sides were delicious and I am still thinking about the chips and the cabbage! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and the surroundings were beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly and they even gave us a little birthday treat for my husband's birthday. It was all fantastic. The only negative, if you can call it that, is that I was so full from the tomahawk offer that I couldn't fit in a dessert! I had a hot chocolate instead and that was also absolutely delicious. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Plate and will definitely be back as soon as I can.

   We had the 1kg tomohawk (to share). It was such a great plate of food. The service was fantastic and the resturant had a lively atmosphere (bearing in mind we did eat early in the evening). Would highly reccomend a visit if you havent already!

   After arriving in Bath from London, there was only one place we could go to for a Sunday roast, after finding it on Instagram. We had drinks on the terrace as we were a bit early for our booking - lovely, relaxed area overlooking some of the features of Bath centre. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I would definitely recommend the chicken and beef roasts.

   We ate outside on a fine weekday. Uncrowded and quiet. Parking available right outside at that time. Very comfortable seating inside and out. The lentil and chicken dishes were good but we had to wait a long time for them to arrive.

   Absolutely wonderful restaurant. I booked the private dining for my husband’s 40th and it was as special as I hoped it to be. The dining area on the terrace was picturesque, the food was delicious and the service was second to none. The guy behind the bar (didn’t get his name) was really the icing on the cake…skilled and super friendly with a spectacular knowledge of whiskeys!!

   Just a wonderful WONDERFUL place.. it's magical really. The art inside is so very charming (that cat tapestry is just insanely cute nestled among the birds) and the downstairs restaurant so very cosy! There is a really delightful Albanian gentleman who waited on us and couldn't be sweeter. I'm a vegan so I would only ask Mr. Taylor to perhaps ask his chef to put a beetroot soup (my ultimate favourite! and easy to make) or something that might be a little more veg, although for non vegans, like my husband, the menu is perfect. And lastly, Caroline at the front desk is the most MOST DELIGHTFUL person, so helpful and welcoming. Lovely to meet you Caroline! Bravo Mr. Taylor for your lovely hotel!

   Fabulous plate of food, sat outside in the glorious sunshine. Crispy roast potatoes, horseradish sauce came with the meal, beautifully cooked vegetables. Delicious cauliflower cheese at no extra cost as a side dish. Excellent service, what's not to love? One to repeat for sure.

   Where can you start? The staff fantastic nothing too.much trouble from changing our booking from the dome to the terrace, as they believed the dome would have temperature of over 50c and would be unhealthy Food very good,fish and chips, burger a tomato salad and I had the place. Well presented and tasty After dinner retire to the bar and an excellent barman Joel who knows his gins vodka and cocktails. Good to have a chat with and his memory is brilliant. We came in the second night and the drinks appeared. Truly and asset. The restaurant is good for breakfasts with many options that you can order so that your breakfast is personalised

   From the warm and friendly greeting in reception to the beautiful art displayed in the restaurant, this place will impress you from the moment you step into it. The food is AMAZING - beautifully presented, good sized portions and above all prepared and cooked to perfection. The Plate was the ideal setting for our 5 year anniversary. Excellent service from Chris and the rest of the team. Really lucky to have had the opportunity to visit and will definitely recommend to friends and family.
