We were visiting bathford and thought about having chips from here. Food portions were very generous. Cod bites were very big and again generous portions. All tasted really good. Highly recommend

Very tasty. Lovely fish. Not greasy. Light batter. Im very fussy about my fish and chips and I had no complaints at all.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. We organise a yearly fish and chip lunch for 12 or so neighbours and the order is always always perfect, on time for collection, help is offered taking it to my car and all the guests absolutely love it. We'll be back of course. Thank you to all the family and staff involved in providing such a great service with friendliness.

Not only great traditional fish and chips but if you want to be careful about fried food for a health issue then listen to this:i had excellent grilled cod with extra Virgin olive oil and lemon dressing, boiled potatoes and peas, it was better than any i have had in pseudo swanky restaurants. Honest fresh and prepared with skill.

We enjoyed the best fish & chips of our lives at Robbie's Plaice. The fish was fresh and the batter was so crispy. The grilled fish was delicious as well. Staff were welcoming and attentive. We had to sit outside without a reservation on a Friday night, but that ended up being wonderful as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience and delicious meal.

Battered haddock fish and plaice fish both tasted good. Chips were unsalted and soft to bite. The restaurant was filled with fumes from the kitchen's cooking.

Not bad, ordered 2 x sausage and chips. The shop is clean and well laid out. My only issue is that the two portions of chips were bundled together into one load of chips and the sausages wrapped together too. Not a major issue but it meant we had to divvy up the chips which isn't easy when you're in a car.

Popped in today, just before lunch. At this time of the day, we'd usually have a hot sandwich/ baguette, omelette or the fried brunch meal. It felt like something different was in order, so a brunch, tea and Americano was on the list, and I decided to go for an English Breakfast. I toyed with the idea of the Full Monty, but that would have been a step too far. The food was excellent, and the table service was good, too. We finished our food and had a second round of drinks. Sauces are in sachets, as a Covid measure, and hot drinks come with a small biscuit, on the side; something to nibble whilst the order is prepared. Robbie's is a wonderful local asset. Well done to Roberto, Anna, Danny and Jenny for a lovely visit. Wish we could have left a contactless tip, as we didn't have cash. Chris

WOW! fish & chips.... OMG! sooooooo fresh and tasty! Small greens opposite to sit down and enjoy such lovely food!! Staff looked busy, you can tell they work hard. Kudos especially in that heat!! Immaculate and clean. Food size was ample, even had save some for an indulgence later. Couldn't bear to throw away! Drove 30mins plus to get here based on previous reviews. I will be doing that again!!
