Went for a group retirees Christmas lunch and it couldn’t have been better. When you have 50 people pretending to be old and deaf, the staff did incredibly well. And the food was spot-on. Really good. Well done everyone!

Having read the menu and seeing that there were three vegetarian entrees, we made a reservation here. When we arrived, we were one of only four tables of customers. Our server told us that none of the vegetarian options were available. There was no offer to check with the kitchen about preparing a vegetarian dish. We left. I wrote to the head of the restaurant about my experience and received no response. No concern about your customers' experience, apparently. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this venue.

We stayed at The Royal and ate here. Pleasant food and good service.

Good food, a decent portion. Wide choice including veggie dishes. Prices similar to most quality eateries. One dish came out not so hot, and this was quickly resolved. Perfect place if you arrive by train, also taxi rank outside station opposite.

A wonderful late 3 course meal with selection from the full menu was a delightful end to our evening during our stay in Bath. The staff were professional and amiable, and treated us excellently throughout the evening. Excellent French cuisine at very reasonable prices.

What a lovely place to eat, friendly staff a good menu and really well cooked fresh food we had lunch and a dinner here and was impressed with both. From the pan roast lamb to the pan fried sea bass, weather you have sweet or the cheeseboard you won’t be disappointed.

The food here is really good. We ate here two days on the trot. The service is great, with lots of nice touches, eg an offer of water for the table and an explanation that the lamb will come pink. If like me you are not a fan of pink lamb you then have the option of asking for it a bit more well done. The pea risotto is beautiful, the lamb rump exceptional and the rib eye steak very tender. As for puddings, the Eton mess is dreamy. This place is well worth a visit.

Nice enough hotel bar/restaurant. Sometimes have to wait a while to get served however the bar staff are friendly and welcoming. They have a good selection of lagers and wine. Serve hot drinks as well as soft drinks. Food is typical pub grub so nothing outstanding. Prices are decent. Location is good as well. Interior decor is very comfortable well maintained.
