We visited Castle Farm for Sunday lunch for the second time and it was fantastic again! The food was plentiful, delicious, and perfect for sharing, and the team were so friendly. The sticky toffee pudding was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted! We’re already eyeing up one of their curry nights or Malaysian brunches, as we’ve heard amazing things. An absolute must try!!!

I had to book weeks in advance for Sunday dinner here but I had heard very good reviews. I had the veggie roast and my friend had the 3 meats. The portions were extremely generous. The veggie option was not a nut roast; a carrot and chickpea dish which was very tasty. The yorkie was delicious as was the buttered kale. A lovely damson and plum cordial to drink too. We shared a crumble for pudding as we were v stuffed. Beautifully cooked, but I have given it four stars on the food just because the dishes were perhaps a little over fussy for me, with each dish covered with nuts or seeds. Would definitely return though. Waiting staff were excellent and very attentive.

Heard a lot about this place so was excited to finally go... And it didn't disappoint. Food was amazing, staff were lovely and attentive and the setting is unique. As others have said this is the best roast I've had to date! Can't wait to come back.

Possibly the best Sunday roast we've ever had, matched with fantastic desserts and a very creative drinks selection. The atmosphere on a warm summer evening, along with the great service, were the cherry on top. Fantastic value too at only £35 per person with drinks and dessert.

I have had this place saved on my list for while now. We booked a table for Sunday roast dinner. We were able to get a table within a months notice. We booked the table for 12pm and were welcomed at the wonderful barn/restaurant. Very quaint little place. We were seated at the top which was wonderful with view of the restaurant and kitchen. Fans were on which was nice. We ordered the sharing roast. Once all the dishes started to come out you could smell how good it would all taste. All the meat especially the beef, veggies and all side dishes were delightful. The Cauliflower cheese was very very tasty. We loved every dish and are so pleased we visited. I booked a table again as soon as we ate. Can't wait to visit again! Best place for a roast dinner and lovely staff.

This place has serious wow factor! The Sunday roast was incredible. We are moving to Combe Down from the East Midlands in Spring 2023 and are SO excited to have this place as our new local. We can’t wait to bring all of our visitors and experience the supper clubs too. Thanks for a brilliant lunch!

Wow. Highly recommended, and you had better prebook a table. A must visit location for a very well presented roast dinner. Everything on the plate looked as good as it tasted. Friendly staff and helpful. You get what you paid for and there was plenty of it. The downside was I had to leave some and had no space to try the desserts.

This is the best Sunday roast we’ve ever had, and is most definitely worth the short drive out from the centre of Bath. It comes served family style with generous portions of veg and roast potatoes. The meat was cooked to perfection. Beef was tender and not chewy, the chicken was juicy and the pork was packed with full of flavour. The service was great too to boot. Just be sure to book a table to avoid disappointment!

It's no exaggeration to say that this was by far the best roast I've ever had, and I've had a fair few!! Incredible setting, very unpretentious and warm, friendly staff. We visited with our 10 month old son, and they made sure they had a high chair ready and asked if if they could do anything for him to eat-unfortunately he's still a bit young for that. The food was perfect, absolutely perfect! Every element of the main course and dessert were beyond what we could have wished for. The wine and beer selections were also great I've already booked for the very next slot I could find, and will be recommending to everyone!
