Not bad but not great. The rooms initially looked nice. The bed is comfy and provides nice tea/coffee. The bad side was the bathroom. Loads of gunk under the sink hole and dirt up the walls and on the ceiling. The price of the drinks at the bar was horrendous. £10.90 for a single vodka and coke and single rum and coke. One of the staff was nice and friendly but decided to sit with us whilst we were having a drink which after a long day of driving we wanted to just chill together but he was friendly and kind so we didn’t mind too much. I would return but not at £72 per night

stayed there a little while ago and loved it...I received vip like treatment and the atmosphere was second to none. the room was spotless and the nightlife there was electric with music to suit all tastes. I definitely would recommend it to friends and family.

Awful experience. Booked one night (I have visited same time last year) and my bathroom and bedroom had not been cleaned. Wet mud on the carpet and urine splashed on the toilet seat. Bed had been changed. No compensation offered by owner which is disgraceful. Had to find another place to stay.

Room was very dusty and cleanliness was below expectations. Bedding and towels were great, but that's about it. The en-suite had an unpleasant smell, like stale water. There was rubbish in the waste bin from the previous guest/cleaner. After cleaning the remote down from the thick layer of dust, we discovered that it didn't even due to corroded batteries. So no TV. We didn't realise it was a pub/nightclub venue, so bring a quality speaker if you're staying over a weekend!

Lovely Saturday night can hear everything but nice bed room clean. No toilet paper or cups and teaspoon to stir and only 2 little milks I like at least 4 cups of tea in a morning. I would stay again good old style and lovely place maybe 2-3 days next time because where they do meals were fully booked so must be good.

This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. Got back around 11pm to sleep after travelling all day to find we had to walk through a nightclub entrance and fight our way through a packed dance floor to get to our room. When we were in our room, it was as if we were still in the bar. Imagine sleeping on a dance floor with music blasting. The only thing we could hear over the music was the 100 or so people packed into a tiny beer garden right outside our window. There was absolutely no way of getting any sleep. Music blasting until 2am and you have to check out by 10am. This was the view from our window...

The hotel stay was reasonable, The customer service and booking handling has been awful. A booking error by the hotel led to payment being taken twice. 8 months of ignored emails and phone calls have still failed to acheiveive the refund owed!

Lovely people - lousy hotel - stairs to rooms not suitable for any one with stair problems - no parking - no food - the en-suite is like nothing I have seen before and the Saturday night we were there there was a disco until 1am and it was like it was in the same room - not open until Friday- seriously don't go there .

I can imagine if you’re going for some drinks and a good night then you’ll be in the right place, however if you actually want to sleep I would look elsewhere. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff member (about the only inviting thing about this place). Once we got to the room we were asked if we knew about the late license, which was no where advertised so obviously totally unknown to us. It was quiet until about 9 which we thought we was great news, then the noise came and was relentless until gone 1am. People shouting, dogs barking and someone initiating the dog barking- trying to get some sleep was impossible until after 1:30am. There was a wet towel left from the previous guest in our room, the kettle was filled with limescale and covered in dust. It would’ve be fine for the price you paid, had it not been for the place pretty much being a night club.

Pros: Rooms were pretty clean, Shower worked fine with good pressure, beds were comfy, towels provided, staff very friendly, priced low Vs others in the area. Cons: noisy on top of a pub/club, especially Friday and Saturday - closes at 1am so there will be loud noise untill then. Toilet flush was weak, the rooms could use a dust in the cupboards & behind the mirror, no shower soap provided.
