   Consistently good Sunday lunch. We've been going to the Congresbury Arms for some time and every time the Sunday Roast has been really tasty. Good choice of meals, exceptional vegetables plus all the trimmings. The staff are the super friendly and accommodating and they serve until 5.30pm which is an added bonus.

   Food is pretty decent - standard pub grub with a good roast on Sunday. Prices also decent and service fine, nice decor - trying quite hard to be something a bit special (but it’s a pub). If you’re looking for a meal out and don’t want to go to Bristol the Congresbury Arms is a good bet. They have just introduced some sort of parking camera arrangement, so if you drive check the terms.

   Only visited the Pub. There was a mix up on our booking for an evening meal. Even though I had an email confirmation. The staff members didn't communicate with each other. We still got a table as it was a quiet Monday evening. My sausage and mash came with no vegetables at all , which was a shame. Then the new dessert on the menu the Congresburys Mess was 85% cream, 7% fruit and only 8% meringue. This was disappointing too. My friend didn't eat hers at all. The environment was lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive. You don't have to pay for parking, even though at first glance it looks like you do. There are many reasons to visit. Just wanted to share my thoughts on the menu and food .l

   I felt that the roast beef dinner was not worth the money, very bland, roast potatoes were awful. Found the whole meal tasteless. Very disappointing. Member of staff serving the bar, we felt was quite rude. Won’t be returning.

   Had Sunday roast here. Quite excellent, nice amount of trimmings and gravy. Very nice crumble for pudding with plenty of custard. Dog friendly and great service.

   After a family cycle along the strawberry line we were looking for a place to stop to have a drink with our two children outside in the sun. We came across the congresbury arms and made our way to the gardens. Taking the two children inside I went to order where the member of staff asked us to leave as the garden was not open. Funnily enough it was clear to us that people had been using the garden that day as tables had empty glasses on them. It felt like the member of staff had no interest in catering for cyclists which seemed a little short sighted being so close to the strawberry line. We left and made our way to an alternative venue to find refreshments. If you're a cyclist I suggest you give this place a miss based on our experience today.

   Congresbury Arms has just reopened after the winter. Had a lovely meal on their opening night. Food was brilliant. No wait. Left feeling really satisfied and very full! Going back on Sunday for Sunday roast. Probably the best in the area! Just saying. The bar area is now dog friendly but they recommend booking if you’re bringing a pet. The bar feels way more cost and warm. Very impressed. The restaurant is assistance dogs only. Honestly it was so good to be back there and I’m glad there are still some friendly faces even under new management.

   Very welcoming venue for a meal with friends or family. Food was great. Drink selection was ample. Waiting staff were attentive if slightly overbearing but that's likely personal taste more than anything. Would visit again.

   Lovely to go again since refurbishment. Looks really polishex, excellent service and good food. Great location to meet up, also kids friendly.
