Great caff. Very airy, big windows, and cool staff. Were always really chill and friendly when I worked in the building. Great to see it forever immortalised in Dept Q (previous annoyances over the caff being closed for filming now forgiven)
Relaxed space with lovely big windows which let a lot of light in. Mixture of tables, some that allow laptops and some that don’t which is nice so tables do turnover for people coming and going. Coffee was lovely and the cakes were delicious! My favourite being the churro and Nutella cake. Didn’t get any savory food this time but it looked yummy.
Relaxed, friendly cafe in an art centre. Come through main doors and turn left - can’t see cafe from outside. Welcomes everyone: groups of friends, people working (no music), dogs, children, good disabled access (side entrance). Good range of coffee, cake - lots of vegan options + light lunch options. If I was a tourist it would be just the sort of local, quirky, quality cafe I’d hope to find. Opposite meadows- best children’s playground in Edinburgh.
