   I went here with my family for a bite to eat! I personally got the Pulled Mushroom Chili for €14.75 ($19.33 USD for fellow smerican tourists), and it was DELICIOUS. I just don’t personally like beans (which the menu didn’t say it had) and didn’t taste much mushroom in the dish which brought the food rating down to a 4 star. I really liked the atmosphere, but there was too much football (american-friendly: soccer) on the TV as a non-sports fan so that brought it down from 4 stars to 3. I get it’s a pub, though I’m just expressing my opinion. Would come back if i came back to Edinburgh!

   Came in for a drink last night and there was a great atmosphere in the pub. Enjoyed my drink chatting to a lovely young guy who I believe was maybe in charged called Luke. He was very welcoming and friendly as were the rest of the team. Would pop in again

   We stopped in for some food after a day of touring! We had the grilled cheese toasty and it was fantastic!! Along with a few beers we were ready to hit the road again. Really enjoyed our time there!!

   Pub was clean and pleasant, staff were friendly and helpful. However, they were quite stingy with the food. There were quite literally 11 chips on my plate, and the sandwiches were quite skimpy on the fillings - think a single piece of bacon and a bite sized piece of chicken on a BLT. My mum ordered the Balmoral Chicken but only ate about half since it appeared to be freezer burned on one half. There was also no mash available which was sad. The prices were low and what food we had was tasty, but I wish the food had been a little more fair.

   A nice pub! Nothing special or fancy, as expected, but just a nice pub. The door opens and you're greeted by a smell that's a mixture of fish and beer. You have to order through qr code or at the bar. The drinks and food come quite quick. I ordered the half chicken and though it doesn't look appealing, it was really soft and tender, definitely enjoyed it a lot! Can recommend for some easy pub food

   We visited this pub 2 days in a row. Unfortunately, they were out of quite a few ingredients as they were very business given the holidays. Outside of that, we had good experiences here. My mom and I shared the chicken sharer both times. The different types of chicken were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My pop and sis loved the fish and chips. But they didn't quite enjoy the Philly Steak Toastie because the bread was too hard. My youngest sister loved both the dishes she tried. The crispy bacon on her bbq chicken was perfect. She liked the steak and ale pie the best though. The staff was courteous and attentive. The drinks were great compared to the watered down ones I've come to expect living in the States. Overall, we would eat here again just not so close to the holidays.

   Great pub in the west end just off Princess Street, Edinburgh. Fantastic range of beers, wines and spirits. The staff were all really welcoming and friendly. Great pub if you are looking for something traditional, didn't eat here but the food looked great and well priced.if it is your thing, they show live sport in the bar area . Highly recommend if you are in Edinburgh.
