   I stopped into The Amber Rose whilst visiting Edinburgh, and it ended up being one of my favourite spots of the trip. The pub has such a warm and lively atmosphere with great food and drinks - all of which are reasonably priced. A special shoutout to Georgina behind the bar, who was absolutely wonderful! She was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive even when it was busy. I can tell she cares about the customers and enjoys what she does. Her kindness made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend visiting and if you do, hope you get served by Georgina!

   Pretty bad from start to finish. Really poor service. Cutlery was unclean. £15+ for a burger and served the smallest half piece of bacon. Would not recommend, much better places close by.

   Called in for lunch whilst on a day trip to Edinburgh. Service was quick and the food was lovely. I opted for steak ciabata with chips and it was delicious. Plenty of outside seating if required.

   A great place to eat, drink and have some good time. The place is quite big and there's room for a lot people, especially big groups. I had only the fish and chips but it was tasty and I'll consider that the food is pretty good. Unfortunately, there were no cask ales but it was fun anyways. Lots of sports going on on TV.

   Love place for drinks and watching the footy. The little huts outside are great for a small group with its own tv and table service makes it ideal for the match. Food was great too and not bad value for a capital city pub bang in the middle of the city centre

   Great service and atmosphere. Generous portions one of the best Xmas dinners I've ever had all 3 courses were delicious!! Very reasonably priced also. Highly recommend will definitely be back.

   Traditional Scottish food at it finest! Tucked away off the main market street, this fine Pub has amazing service. Small selection of beer and ciders but all the ones that count. Highly recommend seeking them out when you are visiting!

   What a fantastic pub, popped in for a lovely lunch and the menu had a great range. The outside seating was perfect in the sun and has a great view of the castle. The team were super friendly and helpful during our visit especially Jamie. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

   Loved it here not far from Princess Street, lovely pub, great breakfasts and meals. Spotless toilets lovely atmosphere plenty of tv screens for the sports fans. Great staff helpful and cheerful. Visited a few places but the Amber Rose ticked all the boxes.
