   Went to get Christmas tree today, really liked one that was on display. Tried to check the price but there was none. The Christmas tree box next to the tree had a paper on the top with the name, height and the price of the tree, but that was of a different tree since the name did not match the box one, neither did the height writtenon the paper. When my husband enquired about the tree, he told me the staff insisted the boxed tree was the displayed one (which it clearly wasn't, if looked closely). The staff would give you few minutes of their time but would not be with you long enough to make sure the customer is satisfied with everything before leaving you be. They all seemed very busy and since Christmas is approaching, they must be on their feet constantly. If only they had spare staffs for customer enquiries and help and support on the floor too.

   Good luck if you need any help. Rude and patronising, even management wants you out the door if you dare to take more than fifteen seconds at "Customer Service" and will flat out tell you they "don't have time" to help.

   Used to be a great place to shop for crafty items, I now find it cramped and the shelves often empty, and definitely not as much variety of products that there used to be.

   The floor in the men's toilets is literally rotting apart and this has taken a LONG time to happen and no one has done a thing. To me, The Range is now a 'made in China' shop at ridiculous prices. I'd like to know how many products are NOT made there? Lots of the joints in the blue floor covering are now held together with Gaffa Tape. Same old story. Take more, give less and don't maintain it until it falls to bits.

   Great store, but terrible staff. Hence the 1 star..even that too much!! They are in need of basic customers service skills. At the checkout, I didn't even get a hello, thank you, or a goodbye! Nothing! Left feeling deflated I just spent all that money, thinking "well I won't be rush back to this store!" I can easily save myself time, effort, fuel and save myself from being annoyed by bad mannered staff. And ship online. Very poor service. Manners cost nothing!

   Love The Range! So much choice and I am loving their Christmas range! Brilliant presentation and good layout. Easy to find what you're looking for. Good value for money - I had seen a stunning rustic clock for over £300 and I got one very similar in The Range for only £50 and it's honestly stunning! They also have a wee cafe!

   It's true, shelf prices do not match what you are charged at the tills. I am completely unrelated to any other recent reviewers and this issues has been going on for months if not years. Don't get me wrong, its a good shop, but that whole till 'policy' is definitely not in line with consumer standards... KNOW THE PRICES BEFORE BUYING AND CHECK WHAT YOU ARE BEING CHARGED!

   Very disappointing visit, spent over £70 and thought it was more than I thought it was, I asked for 3 item prices to be checked as was more than what was on the shelf tickets, was told its policy to go with the till prices and they don't change it, after hearing from some of my friends it seems its not only the one branch of The Range that adopts this policy! So a warning to all, be very careful on checking your receipt beyond driving away in your car, I did and due to the very unhelpful staff returned my whole shopping. How many times have they overcharged customers ? Take note The Range, customer satisfaction should be your top priority in this climate.
