    Dreadful place - AVOID! Staff mostly rude and discourteous. They also pull the old three-card trick of 'not having a penny change' from a fiver (sometimes 5p); ok if you don't miss a few pence, but tried upon a 100 people a day that's almost £400 pa in their till. Dirty interior and food not particularly fresh. Also check the sell-by dates too. They rely upon passing trade, but do yourself a favour - check out your Google as other shops are nearby.

    used to be nice when we were kids but now always tell us to hurry up and some of the prices are bad. they tell us to get out when we’ve been in there for less then 2 mins looking. horrible customer service only giving a 2 because they used to be nice when we were younger but not now.

    Visited to return a parcel via Hermes/Evri and also get a couple of bits. The store has a terrible smell (mould/sweat) as soon as you walk in. Was struggling with the label machine and went to the counter - server didn’t even acknowledge me and was just on his phone watching a video. Sorted the label and returned the parcel, all parcels are dumped in an old chest freezer in the middle of the shop for everyone to access/see. Went to get a cold drink - no fridges in the whole store were turned on so everything was warm, including perishables (milk, butter etc). The cold drink fridge nearest the door smelt of smoked meat and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. This shop has a 4* food hygiene rating and I’m not sure how!

    terrible customer service, you’re made to look for your own parcels (which I’m fine with) except for the fact that they’re out there for everyone to access in the middle of the store, god knows how many parcels have been stolen and are now missing. I went in to pick up a parcel and it wasn’t there. the guy didn’t even offer to help despite no other customers being in store and he was sat watching netflix on his phone. avoid this place and pay extra for home delivery. evri is terrible and so is this store.

    Would give it zero stars but wont let me. Absolute shocking service and declining of service for absolutely no reason. If you have a valid ID I wouldn’t even bother, refusal of a valid drivers license because, and with an attitude and a slight glance at it, he “couldn’t recognise the picture” that was taken about 6 months ago. Although I do understand such a confusion since a slight hair change can result in a completely different identity. My fault really for thinking idiots know how to identify someone. Maybe they should focus less on watching TV on their phones and more time actually making money and serving people

    I highly recommend this store, very well stocked and open late, so handy for local people. I've shopped there for years. The family who run it are friendly, polite and extremely helpful. They're consistent in providing good customer service and if you need help, nothing is too much trouble. Also noticed they are particularly considerate to the more vulnerable members of the local community, which is always a good sign.

    I’m 19 years of age with a legal ID and Full of tattoos , went to get a monster energy you have to be 16 for I got ID’d which I shown then turn away as to them seemed fake !!!! Yet had legal proof otherwise don’t particularly like this shop anyway due to one the workers making quite a few young girls feel disturbed by constant staring at them I’ve also heard quite a lot more about this shop and it’s ways very sketchy and very dodgy especially if paying by cash near all the time they don’t give you correct change and take quite a bit off you do not trust this green bridge lane shop at all !
