Excellent customer service at this store. The young man (Calum) who served me was very polite and helpful. I have bought shoes from Sports Direct in the past and wasn't too pleased. Will have to wait and see if these new ones are any better. Hope so!
very poor customer service. overly rude, and unpleasant to be around. no smile, no nice conversation just dull and sad. really disappointing as i expected more from a store this big and popular but again poor staff
6.38pm and refused entry to store. When it clearly states 7pm that it closes. The guy refusing entry total jobs worth
Terrible customer service , picked up shorts with sale sticker got charged full price. When complaint was advised sticker was placed by mistake and need to pay full charge. Last time I check you need to price match label price ...
Huge store on 3 floors, first floor is just a fashion shop like any other, sports are on the next couple of floors with a reasonable selection but not specific enough to any particular sport and don’t expect many bargains. Big are either not reduced or have very small discounts. It’s more like JD Sports and not the cheaper Sports Direct like we are used to in the past.
Decent sports direct , very tidy and good range. Had no issues at all getting new trainers and staff where nice enough.
Staff are unknowledgeable and unhelpful I had bought items online and needed them exchange as the wrong sizes were delivered to me (not of this shop's fault). Went to look for someone to give a hand on how to process returns, got cold shoulder from staff. When managed to get some answer from one staff, all they did was shrug and said to go look at each floor for the things as they didn't know where they are. Then once I managed to get the items and head to exchange them at counter , once again they seem unable to care or even find out how to do their jobs on the counter and process the exchange of items. Definitely not a good experience in Sports direct and it seems a trend in most of their stores.
Not a lot of shop floor assistants available for help n advice on 3rd floor shoe dept. Escalator from 3rd floor down not working - safety hazard.
The shop was spotless. The most spacious Sports Direct I have been in. Lots of car parking spaces. 2 massive disappointment was the availability and attitude of sales staff. I was looking for a pair of football boots for my 4 year old. Didn't have a clue to start with. Eventually found a sales rep and asked for some help. I was abruptly told its this boot or this boot. Asked to see 1 of them in 2 different sizes. Out he came with 2 boxes. Flung them onto the bench and said...the size 10 is the display model and walked away! After picking a pair I was still left with 2 boxes of brand new boots, no wonder things go missing from shops. I tracked him down to hand the pair we weren't taking over and to say, thanks, we have taken the one from the display. To my surprise, box grabbed off and no word of acknowledgement! Really really disappointing. Now all the sales staff looked about 17/19, but this is not an excuse, lots of you people have perfectly good manners. I then witnessed another elderly gentleman try and get assistance from 2 sales reps, who continued their conversation about what they are doing at the weekend and ignoring the customer.
