   My brother and I stayed at the bed and breakfast as we were attending a gig at The Prospect Building, which is just a 3 minute walk away. Our room was spacious and well appointed with lots of drinks and snacks available. Rooms are fairly basic but it certainly did a job for us for the evening. The hotel offers only shared bathrooms but there are two of these, one with a shower, as well as an additional shower room to serve the four rooms, so we never found that they were all engaged at any one time. We had breakfast in the cafe in the morning which was freshly cooked, delicious and very reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again and recommend The Fox as a place to stay in Bristol; it's a very short walk to Bristol Temple Meads and only 20 minutes or so into the centre of the city. Best of all, we managed to find free on street parking next to the cafe!

   Horrible place to stay, you pay way to much to stay in that halfway house worst “hotel” I’ve ever stayed in, the manager was incredibly rude and the “hotel” itself was just god awful I stayed here here last night on 15/11/2025 and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had, the manager looked homeless and the whole place stank of cannabis, you could not pay me to stay here again, he barged in on me and my friends in the morning without warning and demanded we leave for quite literally no reason, what a grotty little man

   Stayed here for an event at the Prospect Building which is just a couple of minutes walk away. The owner was friendly and helpful and the room was very spacious, clean, and with a generous selection of teas and biscuits. I had a lovely stay and would definitely book again!

   A very warm welcome from the staff and landlord, I really enjoyed my full english breakfast, everything is excellent quality. I have been back many times for breakfasts and evening dinner with friends and family. I highly recommend The Fox .
