   Wow what an amazing stay over the Christmas period. The staff are simply amazing especially the welcome at reception Linda Brian and Mandy great customer service upon arrival !! Bistro lovely atmosphere great staff and a good selection of food which is great value for money and well presented !! And the thatchers to wash it down lovely !! Swimming pool clean and at a nice temperature Changing rooms clean and tidy and the lifeguards are all lovely !! And a mention to the entertainment team Oscar really made the Christmas for my two girls with all the additional entertainment that is put on, this guy never stands still very professional !! I can not fault Cheddar Woods Resort and Spa it truly is a magical place !! One final thank you to somebody that could be overlooked is the General Manager Chris amazing service and always the extra mile to ensure every thing is perfect what a great guy !! One word sums our stay up is perfection !! Until the next time Cheddar Woods Resort and Spa don’t change as you are all fantastic !! The Robinsons Family

   Just back from a midweek break at Cheddar Woods. It was lovely. The lodge was beautiful, and the welcome packs for the dogs was a lovely touch. Couldn’t fault the accommodation apart from the heating which couldn’t work out how to turn down so it was very hot. The hot tub was lovely. Staff in the Bistro, reception and spa were all very friendly and helpful. I’m Coeliac and the restaurant staff went out of their way to ensure my meals were gluten free. Booking to go back next year

   Glastonbury Lodge Having stayed on site before but in a different location its difficult not to compare but accommodation was okay. Bedrooms were clean. Kitchen had everything needed including dishwasher and Washing machine it was excellent facilities and was clean. Living area could really do with new sofas, extremely uncomfortable and can see they've put covers over them but maybe its time to replace. We did have a little dog with us so was pet friendly (does smell of dog,) but overall it did the job we needed as a group of 8 and small dog. The dinning table bit in the middle to extend wasn't there so we all couldn't sit at table maybe it was put somewhere else. The oven shelfs kept falling with food on,the extension arms I think were tired. Quite dangerous when cooking with hot food. No real negatives. Just silly little things that you notice but nothing that spoiled our stay. Would stay again. No hot tub in our accommodation which suited us.

   Spent a wonderful week at Cheddar Woods, the cabins were clean and well equipped for a self catering stay, including dishwasher and washing machine. We had a hot tub, which was wonderful and hot, and a fake fire place which heats up quickly. The heating and hot water was brilliant, as was the water pressure. There was a heated pool, which again was clean and open mornings and afternoon. There was walks, and Cheddar Gorge is close by. We took a walk down, but take the longer route as it has a path! The staff were friendly, it was great for kids they have a little arcade with cheap £1 rides and a playground outside the restaurant. We didn’t eat in there, but the food looked good. I recommend the fresh milk from the shop, it is delicious. It is a great location, and in beautiful woods. We will be back!

   We stayed in number 49, excellent facilities in the lodge including separate freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Rooms were spacious and everything was clean. Fantastic hot tub which we all used. Fairly close to reception. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We love the pool, and there was a lovely play area for our grand daughter. Whole area was lovely and peaceful. We were there end of September, I dont think we would stay during the summer months as it would be too busy for us. Good range of activities if you wanted things to do. Perfect location, close to lots of attractions and weston Super Mare. Only two negatives, some people were clearly not picking up after their dogs! Sunday lunch at the Bistro wasnt great. The chicken piece was dry, that was for all three of us, and my daughter said her beef was tough, so definitely not worth the price. Other than that we gad a lovely time and would definitely return

   Nice place. Lodges are a good size and will accommodate 4 easily. The site is well maintained and the amenities are excellent, though the shop not very good. Pub/restaurant with a few pool tables, small bowling alley and a golf/sports simulator available. Overall good and would stay again.

   Nice and quiet. Felt private enough. Sunk in hot tubs on decked balcony was a nice touch. Clean pool and changing rooms with relaxation room. Bits for the kids. Bar a bit over priced and lodge itself could have done with a more detailed clean, but equipment sempt well stocked and overall everything well maintained. Nice place and good prices for stay. Would go again. Also they made effort to return items left so can be trusted.

   We booked a few days for my Birthday, it was quite relaxing. We had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious. We didn't get chance to use the pool or spa facilities but the reception and facilities looked very clean and tidy. Our lodge had a few maintenance issues but nothing that affected our stay. Would recommend, we would book again but a lodge with a hot tub definitely.

   Immaculately clean and tidy upon arrival, plenty of duvets and pillows for each room, lovely staff on resort too. Hot tub was amazing and the surrounding views are stunning. On site restaurant is very fairly priced and portions are huge. Can't wait to revisit
