Great food. Service a Little slow but worth the wait . Gorgeous pub, clean, beautiful decor and Christmas decs.
I came here for the first time in ten years. Very recently refurbished. Wonderful selection of food, plenty of options for a mid-week lunch (pizzas, set menu, sandwiches and à la carte). I had an incredible fish finger sandwich - excellent quality ingredients. Tasted really fresh. Portion size was generous (I’m sad I couldn’t finish it all!). And the bar area looks very smart and comfy with a gorgeous open fire making a lovely ambience. This would be a lovely spot to warm up in after a walk in Bradgate!
The new look is very impressive. They serve hearty pub grub. We will return with our doggies next time.

What a great place to visit for a drink and a bite to eat. The huntsman pizza is freshly made and it's really enjoyable full of flavour. The beef bourguignon was also lovely, it had a couple le pickled onions in what was a nice change. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean toilets and a private car park. Will return.
Nice food, too many pizza's, but some interesting recipes otherwise. Food was tasty, when it arrived, but service was rather on the slow side and one starter was totally forgotten and the premises were not that busy. The general ambience was okay, but premises were cold. One of our group had to put their coat back on.
Second time visiting The Bragate, always a really nice roast dinner. Huge Yorkshire puddings. Nice selection of vegetables and good portion of meat. Very reasonable price too and can choose between 1,2 and 3 courses depending on how hungry you are. Would definitely recommend. We arrived later in the day on a Sunday but would recommend to book if you desperately want a table as is very popular as close to Bradgate Park
Really nice setting, lots of outdoor seating. Very accommodating for us and our dogs - she was even given a biscuit by a member of staff! Pizzas were lovely, all seemed homemade. We will definitely visit again!
Great pub with a good selection of beer and wine. Food is excellent with big portions on the usual suspects and tasty pizzas from a wood fired oven. There's loads of parking and a good sized garden with a kids play area
Lovely, cosy pub, excellent service, excellent food, massive portions and all for a surprisingly reasonable price. Was a totally impromptu lunch visit after a trip to the airport, was so pleasantly surprised! Play area was also quite fun for our toddler
