This is the nearest pharmacy to me so use it frequently. They used to have such lovely friendly helpful staff. But over the last year it is going so downhill. Today, when I wanted a pharmacy medicine (not prescription) there was no one at the pharmacy counter so I went to the normal till to ask for it. The woman at the till usually works at the pharmacy counter. Ginger hair. So I asked for it and she said back to me where is it so I replied "over there" pointing to the place about 15 feet away where it is kept. Her answer was "well I not over there. I am here. And I am not going to get it. " I was totally gobsmacked. This particular woman is so rude to all customers and even other members of her team as I've heard her talk to them. Boots- no wonder this store is empty. Whilst you have rude staff being rude to customers people will not shop there. I think the manager of that particular store needs to go back to training school to realise their salary is paid by their customers!! Please bring back the staff from a couple of years ago. So helpful, friendly and not abusive. Not only that. Only 2 days after my GP did my annual medicines review the pharmacist queried the prescription saying that times have changed and the one particular item should be reassessed. I did refer back to my GP who was not amused!

Extremely rude staff, would give zero stars if i could. I was there on a Sunday and the poor locum pharmacist had such a hard time asking someone to sign her onto the till so i could purchase something. A gobby young girl called Maisie that she called to came out from hiding and was nothing more than a bully as she aggressively signed on for her and muttered something unwarranted towards the pharmacist under her breath. You could clearly see that the pharmacist was at the brink of crying desperately trying to maintain her composure. You would never expect gp surgery staff to be disrespectful to their gp’s like that, so why does a dispensary staff think it is okay to be disrespectful to their pharmacist who they and the public rely upon. Absolutely disgraceful and embarrassing. If Boots are going to employ silly little girls into a professional setting then at least train them to behave professionally and not with attitude.

I have a cat allergy and it gets quite severe and can stop me sleeping and the only thing that tends to even remotely help is Phenergan, I popped in today and an older lady with red hair and glasses was incredibly rude, condescending and just should not be in a customer facing role. I have 5 years qualified pharmacy experience, I know what phenergan is for, this women attempted to tell me I was wrong and her tone was absolutely vile. This isn't the first time I've had dealings with her and she makes me dread stepping foot in the door. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to obtain this medication from anywhere else, and refuse to ask for a prescription. Will be placing a call to head office if they answer the phone. If I could leave no stars, I would.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a shop let alone in a pharmacy. The first time I went in the pharmacy lady told me my prescription medicine was not available. Then her colleague came in and helped me get my prescription medicine. She was super rude and condescending that day. Today she was the same, told me that the medicine was not available without even properly looking. I could see the medicine and yet this time she wouldn’t give it to me, even though her colleague asked her to do it last time. This time none of her colleagues intervened and I couldn’t get my medicine that I needed. I’ve read through the reviews and there’s unfortunately so many of us who have had such a poor service from the pharmacy. It’s appalling. The lady who served me today was totally out of order with her behavior and her attitude. Horrible experience!!

Useless and unreliable, the store closes at random hours on random days and is poorly staffed the rest of the time. If you actually need medication, help or customer service don't bother with this store

On the couple of occasions I've visited, the store has been surprisingly quiet given how central it is. The staff were very pleasant, and the store has some cheaper, unbranded products available (I was able to pick up a toothbrush and toothpaste for £1 each). Very handy for picking up forgotten travel essentials on the way to the station.
