Excellent service and great food. Had a best steak ever. Peppercorn sauce and fries was great.Me and my family had a wonderful dinner and been looked after a lot by Mihail, Raz and lovely Bella. Must say is best restaurant in Newport, probably top 10 in uk! Thank You.
This is a lovely restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views. The food was well presented, and well cooked, and the service was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and polite. The shuttle bus takes you from the main reception to the restaurant. I had a wonderful experience here.
Whilst staying at Celtic Manor, we decided to book dinner here as the menu enticed us. We were booked for 2 at 9pm and whilst there were plenty of other bookings there, service was nice but felt a little bit rushed at times which I understand if it’s near closing, however we were given 9pm as a booking so it was slightly off putting to experience. The food was good, we both went for the Sirloin Steak which was nice but we ordered Medium Rare and received more of a Medium Done / Well Done steak each. Normally it wouldn’t be an issue and it wasn’t as the meal was still lovely but for the standard of the place and the manor - we were slightly disappointed that it wasn’t exactly how we wanted. However we did have a voucher included in our stay which allocated £30 per person for dinner so that was a nice bonus. The restaurant itself is just a 10 minute walk from the manor and is very nicely decorated with large windows to view the surroundings. Overall it was a nice experience and a nice dinner, but not quite what we had expected to get from a 5* place. If I were to return, I think I would probably try the steak place inside the manor, but this restaurant has countless other menu items which may be worth trying!
A great looking venue with stunning views. Food menu is limited but everything we ate was fresh and well received. Service took a while considering the venue was empty for early lunch time. Would definitely re visit as the team were very friendly and we had a good experience generally.

Beautiful presented food, absolute mouth watering tastes. As a chef, it was a lovely change to eat some great food. Valentines menu 3 course was amazing with such a variety as well. My partner doesn't eat meat and highly enjoyed all of it especially the amazing Ravioli that he almost didn't finish. Will visit again when in Wales

Had a lovely birthday meal yesterday with friend. Gorgeous food, Bella our server was lovely. Loved the Rose wine.
It started when I came in. The place was pretty full but they made no effort in providing a nice place to sit to a lone man. So, I got a view of the bar and felt isolated. Waiter was friendly, but in a hurry. Menu looked appetising, so I ordered pork belly, followed by a sirloin steak. The pork belly was tasteful but had been heated TOO long so had become dry, not helped by industrial celery salad and rucola with no fantasy... and then a steak that was cooked as requested, rare for those who want to know, but half my sirloin was fat and inedible, fries were mediocre but the real killer on the late was the peppercorn sauce, with exactly ZERO peppercorns in it and it resembled muddy water more than a sauce. Runny and flavourless. I paid 55£ for a very disappointing meal
