Always a genuine warm welcome. Great selection of food and drinks. Live music Friday and Saturday Darts and pool teams.
Came here for the sea shanty festival to see the live bands here and it's a relic from the 80s but a great place and I am happy to return in the future.
There is nothing wrong with it. It is an OK place. It was a quiet night when we went and I think if it was busier the atmosphere might be better. The food looked good and plentiful. There is good live music on some nights. The location is good for parking as the NCP is close. It is also a close walk from the train station.
Easy going place, staff were polite and helpful, love the old school vibe and feel.... Hard to find these places these days.
Recommend good range of drinks friendly staff and good for rugby days.

Staff really welcoming and friendly. Food absolutely beautiful and reasonable, the chef even gave us a pot of the American salt he used on the chips as we loved it so much. Great little bar
Visited the bar last night - was approached by a woman who worked behind the bar - she asked where me and my friend had come from - we said the pub next door- she said we smelt like chip fat and sprayed us with perfume. So I suppose if you like being insulted by old women and being doused in rancid Cheryl Cole perfume then it’s great. Do yourself a favour and give it a miss
Amazing slow smoked ribs and a steak! Very reasonably priced good atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed.
