Fantastic experience. We went at lunch time with our 6 month old baby, and were accommodated with a space for our pram with no issues. Really quick, friendly service from our server Tik, very happy and smiley and interacted with us and our baby. Food arrived in good time, We shared the butchers block with a side of scallops and it was delicious and very generous on portion size. I’ve had an operation which means I have a smaller appetite and it was no issues for me to be provided with a takeaway container to take the remainders home. I had the strawberry sling cocktail and that was fantastic! Partner had a madri and complimented how nice and cold it was. We went to celebrate my partners birthday and were surprised with a complimentary dessert for him, which was a lovely unexpected and very gratefully received treat. Overall fantastic experience. We had such a lovely anniversary meal. They read our request to sit somewhere quieter and gave us a corner table, which was perfect. They also saw it was our wedding anniversary and just made the evening extra special. Molly, our server, was fab and when she didnt know the answers to our questions (because she’s training) she went to ask someone who would. Fab food & service all round - no complaints here!
Excellent birthday lunch! Brilliant service from our friendly sever Pom - she was very attentive and even asked about our visit and surprised me with a birthday treat! Steak was very tasty and cooked just right. Will definitely be returning!
I went to this restaurant with my family for lunch. The prices were reasonable. The calamari starter was tasty, though it could be a bit less salty. The rump lacked a bit of beefy flavour, but it wasn't bad. The burger was a little dry. The Pork Tomahawk was the best – highly recommended! Overall, the food quality was not bad. I would dine here again.
Good staff and great food. Only had the January set meal but feel fair value for money. More than happy to return as was very impressed
Really great place to eat! Very good value for what you get. Tik was our server, they were very smiley and answered our questions very well, they have a great knowledge of their menu! Great quality steak and it was nice to have a range of sauces to choose from!
You can have a hearty meal in this place. Everything is efficiently run. Food was good and a good selection on the menu as well. That night we were too full to enjoy a desert. Having seen good deserts/cakes on offer, the following day we went back for tea and enjoyed some of those delicious sweets!
Enjoyed the steak...! Ordered rib eye, medium and was not disappointed. Warm atmosphere -was not too flashy or loud. Crum Brulee dessert-sweet little treat-that was not overwhelming on sugar load.
Just got my first takeaway from here and it was all great, steak perfectly cooked. As someone who is not yet comfortable dining in public, places like these that can offer a takeaway menu equivalent to that of a nice resteraunt are just such a treat! Yes its on the pricey side but its all amazing quality, well cooked, and well presented/packaged. Will defo be ordering again!!
