   We had a voucher to use and was so glad we chose Afternoon tea at Colwick Hall, it was such a lovely experience. The sandwiches served with a small cup of soup and a mini quiche were so nice, and the cakes and scones were delicious. Sam the lady that served us was excellent and looked after us making sure that everything was ok and that we had plenty of tea. Would definitely recommend.

   Amazing value for the room we had, especially when the price of a Premier in the centre of Nottingham was more! Stately sized room, decent little bar. Chef went a little overboard with the butter on the sandwiches we had. 45minute walk from Motorpoint, which was perfect, but hidden down a dark road.

   We had a voucher to use, so decided on afternoon tea at colwick hall Nottingham, didn't disappoint. Really nice, Sam the lady that served us was excellent. Looked after us well. I've never had an afternoon tea that served a little cup of soup with a mini quiche, really nice. Great idea. Food was lovely. Plenty of tea and coffee too. Would definitely recommend.

   Beautiful restaurant, we went for afternoon tea. All the staff were amazing, really helpful lady on reception gave us some directions for walks as we were a bit early. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and welcoming. Delicious afternoon tea great selection of sandwiches and the scones....? Oh they were awesome I've never had scones like them. A most enjoyable break from our travels in a delightful building with a lovely lunch. A big thank you to you all.

   Christmas Day Lunch This was the second time we came for Christmas Day Lunch with family and comes highly recommend. The setting is beautiful with lovely decorations and atmosphere. The food was beautiful and the staff worked so hard and really looked after us. We will definitely be going again next Christmas. Thank you Colwick Hall for a wonderful Christmas.

   Beautiful building. Really lovely staff. Very comfy bed and a decent telly in the room. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk (plus biscuits and hot chocolate) in the room. Water pressure excellent but oddly a tiny shower in a large bathroom. Cooked breakfast was not great - I’d stay again for sure but I’ll stick to the continental option

   Visited and over night stay for a wedding. Service, reception and hospitality poor. I asked for a microwave for my porridge and told the chef /cook could not do this for breakfast. Even cheaper motels have this facility. There seemed to be a wedding every day so getting in after the previous and clearing out for the next event is difficult. It is an old beautiful listed building, it does not have a lift and has steps to get in. Barrier entry for parking extra if not staying overnight. 50 people in the wedding room is enough. Some choices of locations for photos. Fountains at the front and back. Look for discounts re day and rooms used. The staff run the event.... I am a professional photographer having worked on hundreds of weddings, in many different locations over many years.

   Really impressed with this hotel. A lovely location. The grounds were amazing. A little out the way but perfect for the peace and scenery. Very professional, friendly staff. The room was put this world huge and tastefully decorated. Even the breakfast was excellent. Will definitely go back!
