Superb event venue and fine dining restaurant. Good service, excellent opportunity to cope with more local business. Excellent facilities in a great location. Feels like it needs more energy from drinkers, diners it is a must visit at excellent price for the quality of food and service. I feel it does need to differentiate its offer further to attract a wider audience and clientele without lowering standards. I loved it just want more people to realise it is a great local venue to visit and frequent, so much more than it is not just the odd fine dining experience. The venison was just fantastic and the banana bread and butter pudding divine. Great bar area, beer and wine selection. So close to making it a really special local place, a venue and a great event place to head to from afar.

I went to Woodborough Hall on 14 December for lunch, to celebrate my birthday and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, served hot, fresh and all at the same time (6 of us in total). It was beautifully decorated, there was a great atmosphere and the service was amazing. The staff were very attentive and we were not rushed at all. The day before I visited the Ivy (Nottingham) which was a huge disappointment with terrible service, no atmosphere, three times the price and a strange policy that means you canβt take a balloon. After my very disappointing visit to the Ivy, visiting Woodborough Hall was so much better and meant that my birthday was a success! Woodborough Hall have also recently provided a buffet for a charity I support and it was lovely.

Visited for a Birthday afternoon tea, the sandwiches, cakes and scones was very nice and fresh. Drinks were expensive and the bar only had one person serving which made getting a drink, lengthy!! The place it's self is lovely. Parking would be better if people parked sensible.

My partner and I went for a celebration meal, a week ago...on a Saturday night, 7.15, there were only two more people eating....we were given two different menus for the A la Carte menu, by the time the menu was changed and a bottle of wine and bread with balsamic dip was served, 30 minutes had elapsed. The warm beetroot starter was lovely, my tartlet was rock hard, impossible to cut I had to break it apart to eat.....we had a duck breast and a venison main dish...when I see the words "fine dining" I know the portions will be small, my celeriac mash was the size of half a dessert spoon..luckily we'd ordered a side portion of chips...the other couple came in after us and were served and left well before us. This was a disappointing meal, to say the least. On the plus side, the waiter was pleasant as was the receptionist..the restaurant, however, was austere devoid of warmth or atmosphere..when the bill came, they had charged me for an extra gin and tonic...once they had taken this off, the bill was Β£140....we won't be going back, im afraid..

Wonderful evening meal with family. The service from the moment of arrival was welcoming, warm and attentive. The dining room is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. The food and wine were simply excellent! One of the nicest meals we have had in a long time - 10/10

Have been a few times since the opening in November and have not been disappointed each time. Opening night was lovely and impressed they catered for vegans. Enjoyed a fabulous three course meal with family and friends and even had to leave some as portions were very generous which is a welcome change. Then the New year's Eve party was brilliant. Had a fabulous evening dancing and being entertained by the very charismatic magician. To top it all fireworks to end the night. Couldn't fault it. The owner's are breathing new life into the lovely building and I thoroughly recommend it. Plus all the staff are very helpful and welcoming.

Went to the 2023 New Year ball at Woodborough Hall. The listed hall looked fantastic following the new owners refurbishment project which now provided a great venue for celebrations. Food, music and service were all excellent. Fireworks welcomed in 2023 with more dancing to follow. Magician was brilliant and is booked to do a whole evening in February.

Had a great evening , yesterday, with great company. The food was first class and very well presented. Staff at this newly furnished location and under new management was excellent. Canβt wait to return in January to celebrate my wifeβs birthday.

We were very excited to try here since we heard it was under new ownership and were not at all disappointed. From start to finish the process of booking was simple, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. We tried the festive menu and were very pleased with all aspects. We are already recommending you to family and friends and would definitely book again in the future for events or afternoon teas (I think my mum would love here for Motherβs Day!) Thank you from all of us for a lovely time.
