   Came in yesterday to get my dog some food and couldn't decide on what brand to go with. Wile a employee was helping me, I noticed the store manager (Gavin) I believe his name was being so horrible to his staff!!!!. This definitely needs to be investigated as he seems to be a very stuck up wan#er in my opinion.

   Attended one of the My Pet Pal workshops with my 7 year old son. Paris at the Chilwell branch was great! Very calm and patient, lots of info given and no question was left unanswered. I really hope Paris receives some recognition from the store :)

   we took our hamster back as it was in its best interests as we have another 1 year 8 month old hamster and they were both stressing eachother out . Gavin disregarded every reason we left him and immediately had a nasty tone and attitude. be prepared to get hamsters returned, you chose to work at a pet shop where there sourced from rodent mills. So expect some of them to not be well tamed or domesticated.

   I have owned fish, both cold water and tropical, for many many years. I asked today if I could buy a small Angel Fish to live in a 40 litre tank. Jenny, who served me at the till, asked me lots of questions in front of other customers in the queue and made me feel incredibly small. She told me my tank wasn't big enough and if I'd kept Angel Fish before. She told me they'd die internally if the tank wasn't big enough. I am SO annoyed.

   Only one cashier on duty, queued for an age before they rang for another assistant who then took ages to come to the till. Poor customer service, more training required . Will not be returning.

   Groom Room within pets at home store in chilwell are fabulous. Our puppy dog Peach was very shaky & nervous & all staff put her at ease. Claire groomed her & she looks just fabulous. Thank you for making our whole 1st grooming experience so luvly. Will definitely be back again. Definitely recommended.

   We got our guinea pigs from this store. Lovely staff very helpful. Great store to get everything to do with pets. The points card is a good idea you get vouchers in the post for money off things. Also the vets inside is good too we bought our guinea pig along for check on his eyes. Very helpful and polite
