“I have taken my dogs to Smarty Paws since it opened and have trusted Leanne with my dogs well before Smarty Paws was born. My dogs have different personalities and one is a particularly grumpy but Leanne has always gone the extra mile to accommodate his needs. Leanne has even come to my home to sort the nails of one of my previous dogs when they were terminally ill. Such a wonderful business where all the staff are wonderful and caring. I won’t go anywhere else.”

“Used ARK vets for the first time this week after the dog we are looking after fell ill. I was surprised and really happy at how positive the experience was. I called the surgery at 4.45pm – the phone rang twice before being answered and on this occasion they were able to see me within the hour. Both the receptionist and vet were incredibly helpful – even showing us through to a private room to wait in, as the dog was a bit overexcited. The vet was incredibly helpful and understanding. I mentioned that we are fostering the dog, so would not be able to immediately agree to any long-term treatment strategy. With this in mind, she ran through a number of possible options, did plenty of tests and recommended short term treatment options to ease the dog’s immediate issues and discomfort. An itemised receipt was provided for the owner, with the offer of calling back for further information if needed. I found ARK very caring and understanding to both dog and owner, which made things a lot easier during what could have been a difficult time. Can’t fault this vet and won’t hesitate to use them again.”

“We left our cat Quorra at Toton cattery and we couldn't fault it. Susan was lovely and she clearly cared for all the cats in her care. She let us know that Quorra had settled in and was eating.”

“Excellent! I had received recommendations to come here and I'm so pleased I did. They are so very friendly, have great human and dog menu's. I had a toasties for lunch and it came with humour (or colslaw), crisps and a side salad. I was totally stuffed after all that and the food quality was excellent. The coffee is also delicious and strong but smooth. I really highly recommend coming to the Dog and Bear. Bring your doggies too.”

“Have been coming here 4/5 years with my rats and they have always been amazing and knowledgeable, laura and rob are both amazing with rats and there are more than one exotics knowledgeable vet nurses on the staff. Theyve always done their best to keep their costs down for me and the out of hours workers also always try their best with what they can.”

“Wow what a lovely hotel. From the lobby to the bar area and up to the bedrooms. Beautifully decorated, very modern areas to have a chat and a drink with friends. Our bedroom was bright, spacious and well appointed. Bath towels and linen were lovely, white and really soft. The bed was super comfy. The staff in the hotel were excellent. If we are back in Nottingham we would definitely stay again.”

“Very good and honest owner. I’ll definitely recommend and book again for my family or friends visiting Nottingham. The location is nice as well. I booked a room last minute for someone else but they didn’t need it in the end. After communicating with the owner, he kindly accommodated my cancellation request without any charge even though it was non-refundable when I booked it.”

“I stayed at the Village hotel last month for a friends birthday. The whole stay was wonderful, from the friendly welcome from Sarah to the lovely, comfortable room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly your lovely bar manager. We had a great time playing darts to kick off our evening. And a swim and sauna the following day after a tasty breakfast. I didn't get chance to use the gym this time but all the facilities looked great so I look forward to this on my next visit. I'll definitely be returning, such a relaxing stay and nothing was too much trouble.”

“The young lady that served me was very Helpful . My husband asked them to deliver to the house as usual they came but said they.didnt no were to leave it they could Have left it in the brown bin. but we had no Choose but to collect from Boots. I was lucky to collect and I got help From a nice assistant who took the item out of a big box And put them in my bag i brought with me. I also have to hold on to a walking stick. The house delivery was better for me but not for the driver We love going to boots the staff are very Helpful.”

Human supplies, toiletries, food and drink, curtains, garden tools decorations lighting and more, stationary, clothing, toys and more variety throughout the yeah, Halloween, Christmas etc.”

“Took a very shaggy Cockapoo ( more Cocker than Poo ) into the Groom Room. Her lastgroom with another groomer had left her traumatised and made her extremely anxious if we left her. We had used the Groom Room before but tried a few others based on recommendations. Mollie needed a good groom so I rang the Groom Room explained what the issue was and they managed to squeeze Mollie in today. She initially was reluctant but a cuddle from one of the team seemed to settle her and she happily went to be showered without a backward look. It was a little longer as she was very tangled but when I went to pick her up she was behind the counter just having a wander.round. No problems with her back in the car - in fact she spent time sniffing around ( a favourite pastime ) The team there ( I’m sorry I didn’t get their names ) but they did a fabulous job and we are booked in for 8 weeks time Thank You”

“Brilliant practice. GP's helpful and professional. They don't just grab the prescription pad and send you on your way, you get helpful advice. Nurses also excellent. The practice is run efficiently and if you are kept waiting sometimes you know it's because they are very busy. Would recommend to anyone.”
