   It’s purely about money for these. Not about the welfare, health, or comfort of your loved one. They left our sweet and loving Poppy to suffer for 48 hours before dying at home, scared and gasping for her last breaths. Rather than put her to sleep when it was clear she wasn’t well in the week prior, they kept adding thousands upon thousands of pounds to the bill in order to take more money from us, promising years more life yet. Pointless x-rays and medications that clearly were not working. None of the billing even made sense. The numbers seem to be made up on the spot with prices for services changing each time. We’re now left with thousands in credit card debt and borrowed money, and the haunting memory of seeing our poor, beautiful girl struggling when she could have gone peacefully. We had nothing left. Not even enough for an out of hours appointment elsewhere. They knew this. They said to wait and come back next week. She didn’t have that long. Find yourself a vet where they care about animals more than upselling and profit. You’re a walking bag of money to these and nothing else. Any other vet, or decent human, would have let her go peacefully.

   I cannot fault this practice! Everyone from receptionists to the vets were excellent in their approach to both the animals and their owners. A professional, relaxed atmosphere which made me feel very comfortable. The vets themselves are very thorough and communication has been excellent throughout.

   I cannot recommend this vet clinic enough! After my black cat, Diego, stopped eating for two days, I signed up for an emergency appointment, and the entire experience was outstanding. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, patient, and understanding, even as I was in tears. They reassured me and made the process feel less overwhelming. The vet who saw Diego was professional, thorough, and calm, which created a very soothing environment for both me and my cat. I felt confident Diego was in great hands. I’ve now signed up for their pet plan because of the excellent care and attention they provided. If you’re looking for a compassionate and professional team, I would highly recommend this clinic.

   We have taken our two cats to Churchcroft over the past 9-years and have always felt assured that they have had their best interests at heart. Sadly, one of our cats recently became poorly very quickly and we ultimately had to take the decision to put her to sleep. The team at Churchcroft did everything they could to give our Rolo the best possible chance of recovery, and George in particular seemed to take a personal interest in getting her better. We never felt under pressure to make a decision one way or the other, and the team always spoke to us with the right mix of compassion and clarity. The aftercare of the staff at Churchcroft since Rolo left us has been great; they truly care about the welfare of the animals under their care and their owners. They were thoughtful enough to provide us with a lock of Rolo's fur and a paw print, which we will be forever grateful for. Overall, we cannot recommend Churchcroft highly enough.

   We went across to Churchcroft after a bad experience with our local vets. Churchcroft have been amazing with us and have given our geriatric Labrador Jasper the gold star treatment on every visit. Most recently this summer Jasper was diagnosed with lung cancer. The Churchcroft team have been by our side every step of the way. Today they came to our house while Jasper was in bed with myself and my partner to guide Jasper on to his next journey. His passing was so peaceful. Thank you all at Churchcroft, we love you.    Only having registered our 3 cats 2wks ago, an emergency app was required on Saturday for our beautiful 3 legged Tilly. Blood tests taken and returned yesterday for ultrasound biopsy etc the diagnosis was as suspected by George, it was terminal liver cancer, we had her home overnight and slept by her side. Our other 2 cats were watching over her. We made a heartbreaking decision today and returned for George to put her to sleep. We honestly can't thank them enough, Poppie was exceptional also the rest of the staff we had contact with during our visits, they have taken everything out of our hands to deal with Tilly's insurance which has taken a lot of pressure off. Thank you all so much
