Just been for boosters with my golden retriever and Iβd like to say a massive thank you to Mia you were a gem, I felt like she listened to what I was saying and gave me lots of confidence that I was doing right by my boy, I often feel like I donβt monitor his condition enough but Mia reassured me that Iβm doing everything correct! We will definitely be asking for Mia again

Firstly - if there was a no star review I would give it - as one star - in my opinion - is far too generous for them! Let me explain as this is a cautionary tale...Our dog (a 7year old male cockerpoo) had an operation recently to remove a possible grass seed and also had some teeth removed at the same time. The operation found nothing inside him and involved post op painkillers and anti inflammatory pills. He was stitched and we were given the necessary post op instructions regarding the cone and no long walks etc etc. Which we adhered to. He duly had his stitches out and I was told they were happy with him. A week later the wound re opened and there was quite a bit of bad smelling discharge. The obvious solution would be to ring the vets to book him in for an appointment for him to be looked at. My wife made the call and was told there were no appointments available that day - understandable as they're busy - but the following day was possible. She was also told that there would be a charge of Β£45 for him to come in (we had already paid Β£1200 up to then). She queried that and was told that we had used up his 2 free appointments when having an operation and advised keeping his cone on and washing the wound with salt water. I then went round in person later that day with our dog to query this face to face. I was again told there were no appointments that day but possible one the following day. I was told that there would be a charge of Β£45 for the previously mentioned reason. I tried appealing to the two ladies behind the desk but unfortunately from my point of view to no avail. I also tried the "it's just to confirm what you said on the phone but could you actually take a physical look at him" approach but this never worked either. From then on I'm afraid it was all downhill as I just had the vets policy rule quoted at me despite my protests. To conclude - Yes he had used his 2 appointments up - but where was the harm in just giving him a quick look at. 5 minutes of one of the vets time maybe? I was prepared to come back the following day. Where was the personal touch? They had operated on him. Did he have his stitches out too early? This remains unanswered. I was constantly being told that those were the rules. I will mention that I lost my self control at this point in front of 3 staff members and a couple of customers and did myself no favours... My frustration - and my language got the better of me for which I apologise should this be read. The way I was dealt with though was less than professional. My background is Retail Sales Management and you do not - as far as I can remember - say to a very irate customer"Goodbye" at that point. You take them to a room away from other customers and resolve the issue there. So .....Is it all about the money? We are not inundated with vets so are those that are practicing making up their own "in house" rules? Are they profiteering? How can a low income family with an ill pet afford these charges - and does this mean that abandoned pets are on the increase in the UK?? I expect no response....... More importantly this is a cautionary tale for those that take the the time to read my post. Thank you

Well we turned up for our yearly booster for our dog Bowie after booking online to find it had been cancelled. Apparently they send out an sms message saying you have to pay a none refundable deposit for all vet appointments now or they cancell your appointment 48 hours before hand. We'll its NOT on their Web site, there's no info on their face book page absolutely nothing. We did NOT get any sms messages saying we have to pay a deposit only the email saying thank you for booking your appointment which is confirmed etc etc. Apparently lots of vets are doing this now according to the receptionist. So I say this if its now your policy put it on your Web site when you book the appointments advertise and inform people as your sms system is NOT working.

We are brand new paw-rents to our lovely two kittens, both brother and sister. From a recommendation, we registered at Vets4Pets Hucknall and havenβt looked back since. Right from their first check up, I knew my kittens were in safe hands and the staff there were friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Today, we have collected our pets from their spay/neuter and we were so impressed with the care, attention and professionalism shown for our tiny animals. The staff kept me up to date with pictures and reassured me when they were both alert and awake after surgery. They listened to my request for the kittens to be kept in a kennel together where possible as they are super close. Upon collection, the kittens were already in their carriers and the lovely vet informed me of the appropriate aftercare. She also told me that they had been good as gold, and had enjoyed snuggling next to each other in the afternoon. Itβs these personal touches that really stand out to me, and Vets4Pets Hucknall go the extra mile for your pet and treat them as if they were their own. Myself and my partner canβt sing their praises enough when it comes to top-quality care for our fur babies. Thank you so much to all the staff - you are amazing!!!

Really friendly and efficient staff. Prices are affordable, even though the whole industry of pet care is an expensive one. Usually have medication in time and are reasonable in terms of urgent care

The lady on the reception was as lovely as ever. She is really good and helpful and always makes a fuss of the dogs. She saw my older boy was nervous and suggested bringing him in with my puppy when she visits for her monthly flea and worm treatment.

Friendly and always welcomeing. Very understanding when my dog threw up in the waiting room. One thing that is particularly helpful is a separate side for dogs and cats helps keep every one calmer. Only disappointing thing is that they were out of wormer for months and i didn't get a refund on my monthly subscriptions for wormer and flea treatment. I however think this is a corporate thing rather than a individual store choice

Cannot fault this vets. My pup Ralph has been going since we got him and they have been really amazing, we have complete care plan and they are always so helpful, caring and knowledgeable. We had an emergency and had to rush him in and they were absolutely amazing and I couldn't have asked for better. Lastly he had an op today and they were again brilliant. They are a fab team who really care about their patients and their owners.
