Polperro is a fascinating and beautiful Cornwall fishing village with stunning walking opportunities, narrow streets, local craft shops, lovely pubs and cafes, with warm and friendly locals. We loved our visit ❤️

Beautiful, access to village much easier on the TutTut...great idea! Village is beautiful Hmmm...Carparking..private carpark and extortionate carparking fees!
Polperro is a beautiful village and was my home for 18 years as Chef Proprietor of Crumplehorn Inn. The harbour is very quaint and the coat path both east to Talland and Looe and west to Bodinnick and Fowey are just amazing and carefully looked after by The National Trust.
Beautiful harbour and a mesmerizing village , the shops had a lot of creative stuff to offer , would definitely love to go again. There is a big car park for full day parking at a conveniently placed location and you can walk from there into the village. The car park does take only cash and there are no ATMs close by. Also plenty of charged public toilets.
Absolutely loved this little fishing village. I can kind of understand the disappointment of people complaining about the car park (you cannot enter the town and have to park before getting in), the minimum you have to pay is now £6 for 3 hours (November 2022) and it’s cash only. But honestly, it’s totally worth it and the walk to the town doesn’t take that long. The town is lovely, with traditional houses, small streets and many canals. The harbour area is amazing as well and if you climb the cliff (to go on the coastal path that goes from Polperro to Polruan) you’ll have a stunning view of the cliffs!
Fantastic walk, some amazing views, some places have steep steps mind so be mindful of that. Found some very large mushrooms on the route don't think they were edible, so Please dont pick them just admirer them.
Polperro is very popular, car parking is a bit questionable as its £6.00 for 3 hrs, at least 15 minutes each way to and from the car park leaves you 2.5 hrs to visit, eat, take photos and buy gifts then back to the car also be very aware that as in most other place's we visited this week its popular also with dog lover's !!!.
Mini slice of paradise when the sun is shining – and when the weather turns, there are plenty of cosy little pubs to dive into and get some grub and a beer. no beach though so don't bother coming down the hill with deck chairs or sun-brellas! There are two routes out of the village along the South West Coastal path if you fancy the walk!
Wonderful coastline with an easy to follow path from Polperro to Talland bay and on to Looe. Not too difficult to walk but very muddy during the winter months. The toilets at Talland bay were closed with no Radar key access as were others in Polperro which makes it difficult if you have a medical need but staff at the Blue Peter Inn in Polperro came to my rescue.
