A wonderful location with comfy apartments. The on site facilities are perfect for rainy days or relaxing after too many samples at local Distilleries. Some great treks for hikers and dogs from the site to the coast, having the doggy shower on site is also a god send.
We loved our stay at Fox Valley Cottages. The location is beautiful. The accommodation, Foxes Den, was lovely. The kids loved the swimming pool and games room. We will be back!
Three generations had a lovely holiday here. Granny especially loved the beautiful gardens, Mum loved the facilities: the swimming pool, the games room, the football pitch, the trampoline, the quiz trails: plenty for our lively 3 year old and vigorous sportsman of a 6 year old to do, even on a rainy day. The cottage (Linney) was well appointed and our hosts seemed to have thought of everything. It all worked beautifully, and our hosts were super friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to come again.
Our first stay at Fox Valley as a family of four. We had everything we needed for an all-round lovely holiday. Accommodation (Foxes Den) was excellent and well equipped, games room and swimming pool kept our teen and tween happy, puzzle trail and a football pitch (although beware this is on a slope!), and very good WiFi given the rural location. Location was great - just a 7 minute drive to a lovely beach and close to Polperro and Looe. We really appreciated getting a text saying the property was ready for checking in early, and on arrival there was a tasty cream tea waiting for us and a pint of milk - just what we needed after a long drive. The only slight negative was a very weak shower in the property and some typically Cornish narrow single track roads! We would however love to stay here again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Our second year at Fox valley needles to say we will be back!! It’s the perfect getaway so peaceful, wonderful having sauna jacuzzi and swimming pool most of the time to ourselves. Chris keeps the gardens so beautifully. Dogs absolutely love the free run.
Just returned from my fourth stay at Fox Valley and it is as good as ever. It is owned and run by a young family who live on site, not some corporate investment. This shows in that it is a real home from home. The accommodation is high quality and ever time I return there is something new or updated. It’s a great place to stay if you have kids or dogs as both are catered for well. The pool is lovely and clean and there are many games books, toys and DVDs available to use. Also there is super fast wifi so you can get Netflix etc. it is tucked away so safe for kids to run around but is nicely positioned not far from the beach and within easy reach of Cornwall’s many attractions. A real hidden gem.
Just returned from a week's stay with friends and family at Fox Valley Cottages, feeling totally relaxed. The place is a hidden gem, it has very clean, wonderfully appointed accommodation with everything you could possibly need, and extra lovely little touches. It has excellent facilities, both inside and outside, the children loved the pool, games room and outside play areas and made use of the extensive choice of games and DVDs available. The owners were so friendly and accommodating and shared knowledge of the local area so we could make the most of our stay. The grounds are immaculately kept and the cottages are nestled in stunning rolling countryside, we loved watching the sunset during our stay. I would highly recommend Fox Valley Cottages and hope to return.
I have stayed with my family a couple of times now, most recently in April 2021 - Fox Valley Cottages is a relaxing and tranquil destination with lovely walks out and just a short drive to some beautiful beach coves and stunning scenery. The owners Chris & Terri make you feel very welcome and are really friendly and helpful. The facilities are perfect, with a lovely swimming pool and a games room, perfect for keeping the teens happy! My labrador also very much enjoyed her stay, very dog friendly and a fantastic dog field! Highly recommended for a lovely break in Cornwall!
